"Legs" and "Sharp Dressed Man" are modern versions of a Cinderella tale, they are the Fairy Godfathers, The Car is the carriage and the Keys embody the magic.

I kinda disagree,,,,this song is so sexual that is impossible to think of other subject from d content of the lyrics,,,,,last verse says it all,,,,,dime ,pole, shit i gotta to have her, but is way to far,,,, she is a pole dancer, if u have been to a gents club ull know what am talking about,,,,,,same goes for ,,,,tush, pearl necklace, and without a doubt,,,,,,ROUGHBOY,,, using the ford 64 as a pennis entering into a girl, with the bubbles as him finishing and the bell as time is up, man ZZ TOP, is 1 of the very few bands that said loud but not clear,,,,lol ,,,,,semper fi.

@@dalemcdowell8885 I agree - this is the director's vision and not necessarily a representation of what Billy was thinking when he wrote it. I love the video, but that's not the story I pictured in my head from hearing the song before the video came out. To me the lyrics say that his girl has confidence and good looks, and literally knows how to use them to get whatever she wants. And he sings 'she's all mine', so clearly what she wants is him. She's not a wallflower waiting for a makeover which is how she's shown in the video. Towards the end of the video she becomes the girl Billy's singing about, albeit a beginner with her new knowledge and skills. Killer tune. Play it in my band. Going to see ZZ in Vegas at the Venetian on Saturday night. Seen them many times, and it's always fun.

@@jemogan I do not think it is the director's interpretation of nothing. anybody that listens to the song would get to the same conclusion that you did. However, directors have to give you something that entertains you, something unexpected, that is why a lot if videos have absolutely nothing to do with the meaning of the song.

One of the advantages of growing up in LA. They filmed this video at a strip mall by my house in the San Fernando Valley. I was only 10, and only got a glimpse while shopping with my mom, but I'll never forget seeing that infamous ZZ Top car with my own eyes. Good times. Thanks for taking me back to my childhood.

Jamel, what makes you so unique from other video reviewers is your facial expressions, your tone of voice, and thorough opinions of any given video. You are one of the very few who have made me happy (making me laugh super hard) during these very rough times. Please keep up the good work my friend!!

Hey Jamal! You hit the nail on the head brother! Videos back then, some of them were like watching a mini movie. You had the intro, where you meet the characters, then the action goes down, then the moral, or rescue, or whatever they wanted to get across to you happened. All in as little as two three minutes some of them. I dig those videos from back then! Enjoyed your video!

When their first record came out in 73, Tres Hombres, with the single La Grange I loved these guys. Later on they just became an MTV novelty as did many of the 70's acts that bowed to the pressure from the record companies. 80's videos may have been fun to watch but as the Bungles said they did kill the radio star.
