The musical is Sunday in the Park with George. "Finishing the Hat" is a musical number within that show.

During corona time people tried to get concerts going like this live. It is really difficult. I don't think they hear each other completely synced. I've seen too many struggles with even the greatest musicians. As long as they can follow the piano this works. Beautifully done. Thanks for sharing this. Never heard of the musical, but I recognize Sondheim immediately. He always gets me 😥

The original production with Mandy Patinkin and Bernadette Peters was filmed professionally and aired on PBS a few decades ago. The DVD is still available I think, and there might have been a few slime tutorials floating in the interwebs. I highly recommend watching the proshot. As an artist, I promise you that once you’ve seen it, the show and songs will hit you differently and perhaps more powerfully. Seurat was an epitome of a tortured artist, but the story will resonate with anyone who is passionate about what they do to the point of obsession. There is also a video here on CZcams that is basically the entire score with sheet music being shown page by page as the show goes on. I think you’ll get a kick out of that. My favorite song from the show (and perhaps of all time) is the ensemble choral piece that closes act 1. The lyrics represent pieces that come together and become a work of art that captures a snapshot of life at a specific moment in time, in a painting that will last forever. The Broadway community got together to sing this song on the red TKTS steps after Sondheim passed away and I cry like a baby every time I see that video.

Idk if you take recommendations, but Little Mix have a a virtual performance they did via zoom of their dong "Touch" for One World: Together at Home, and while we are at it, I would also suggest the live acoustic version of "Confetti"; This was their first live performance as an official trio and, also, Leigh and Perrie were a few months on their pregnancy.
