In this timeless classic, the tyrant Jaffar has seized power and has forced Sultan's daughter to marry him. Jordan Mechner's brother David, the brave youth who is a prisoner in Jaffar's dungeons, must rescue her within 60 minutes. Little does poor Jaffar know that he will be defeated in a fifth of the intended time.
eien86 ( tasvideos.org/... ) improves his previous movie ( tasvideos.org/... ) by 10 seconds in in-game time, pushing it down to less than 12 minutes on the in-game timer. Please read the author's comments ( tasvideos.org/... ) for more details on the improvements.

hey all, TAS author here. This is my magnum opus, my Pièce de résistance, my swansong, my last (but not last) hurrah. I spent the last two years working on this movie on and off, developed several tools, spent hundreds (if not thousands) of hours trying to crack the 12 minute barrier. Every single key input, every single seemingly innocent pause, every single clock manipulation is a piece of the puzzle that allowed me to beat the game 3 frames under the last minute barrier to be ever exploited. Jordan Mechner made quite the landmark little game here. While it's nothing special now, this is what would, along the winding road of time, eventually become Assassin's Creed. And it all started with a little dude made from rotoscopes of his brother doing amateur parkour.
Those muncher traps still give me the willies, man.
