In my lifetime 99% of the Doberman's I've met weren't aggressive. When they act out it could also be the owner projecting their own insecurities onto the dog. Their nervousness...so the dog thinks they need to protect. Possibly. Socialized from the start properly no dog should be unstable or dangerous. My Pug at 9 weeks 7-lbs was best friends with a 2 year old female PitBull about 70-80-lbs. They could play off leash. No worries. The Pit knew my dog was a puppy....didn't play as rough as she might with larger dogs. . 7 years ago...should do a follow up video. If Lilly is still around.

What a Beautiful scene lol. It's so refreshing to see something like this. My own youngest son grew up with what was meant to be MY puppy German Shepherd. Yet she choose him. It was so special to watch their bond grow as the years went on. She even saved my then toddler of being kidnapped by a couple over a field while my back was turned for a min. Tasha the GS attacked said couple before they managed to get near my toddler. Who was happily playing with his collection of Bob the builder toys in a sand pile. Tasha did quite a lot of damage to the Romanian gypsy couple lol. An Tasha got a nice T-bone steak as a reward when we got home. Tasha was worth her weight in gold. She passed age 14. Which broke my then 15yr old sons heart. He won't have another dog since. As to him Tasha is irreplaceable. My son 21 now.

I had a wolf a wolf dog as a baby. My mom told me it would let me ride it as a horse and pull on his tail. And if my mom or any family member got mad he would growl at them. He protected me.😊

Had a Doberman for 12 years and lost him in 2020. This made me smile and cry a little with fondness. A Doberman is the most sensitive, intelligent, owner-focused and self aware dog you’ve ever met, and you can see that here. She plays without touching the baby and makes sure mom thinks everything’s still okay.

I am just travelling through New Zealand and stayed a lot of times for weeks with families. One of the most important things about dogs I have learned is that all breeds are really friendly to everyone. And I stayed at a place with three Rottweihlers. Now I sitting next to two Dobermans and they are so nice. Friendly to everyone. Especially to kids. Forget all the things you haver ever learned. My Jack Russel at home is more dangerous eas this dogs ;D It is the person who creats a danerouse dog not the dog itself.

I am just travelling through New Zealand and stayed a lot of times for weeks with families. One of the most important things about dogs I have learned is that all breeds are really friendly to everyone. And I stayed at a place with three Rottweihlers. Now I sitting next to two Dobermans and they are so nice. Friendly to everyone. Especially to kids.
Forget all the things you haver ever learned. My Jack Russel at home is more dangerous eas this dogs ;D It is the person who creats a danerouse dog not the dog itself.

Reminds me of my dobbey "Rolf" who was an adorable guard dog back in the 80s. I luv Dobermans but cant hav one now as i live in an apartment. I share your love for this breed. Cheers!!!
