Lots of valuable lessons. Mahotsaha prabhu u came to the US to study and I'm sure your Indian parents are disappointed with you. U may neglect them now but later on you will regret. That was the case with Chandrasekhara prabhu. Now u are fired up but years later things may not be the same. You may want to get married, get a job ...by which time u may have lost all your skills which u learned in the university. Many book distributors were left high and dry when they decided to change ashram. So do think seriously. Your book distributing guru Harinamananda is now lost in the wilderness. Lessons to be learnt. Pranam prabhu or mata, All glories to Srila Prabhupada and his faithful followers. I’m sorry for the unfortunate misconceptions and experiences some may have had or have. Fortunately, you are wrong about my parents being disappointed with me. On the contrary they are very proud of me and encourage me to distribute books. They’ve met my spiritual master and my father bathed the lotus feet of my spiritual master with flowers and bought a Srimad BHAGAVTAM set from him. I have no desire of getting married and my horoscope also says I won’t. But even if we were to go along with what you’re saying I’ve had the good karma of being a grandson of one richest men in India. I’ve never worked a job and even if I were to lose all inspiration to distribute books and even bloop, I would only do a business where the book distribution skills will certainly come in handy, to say the least. I am thinking as seriously as possible. Many book distributors have been left high and dry but that trend has changed dramatically especially here in Krishna Life. We care for devotees in our ashram even after they change ashrams and aren’t distributing books the way they used to. Time will always tell, but we’re certainly on the right path as confirmed by Guru, Sadhu and Sastra. I want to clarify that my book distribution Guru is my Gurumaharaja HH Bhakti Vikasa Swami Maharaja. I was and I still am inspired by the phenomenal book distribution efforts of Harinamananda Prabhu. Anything can happen to me because I’m so insignificant and weak, and Maya can attack in many ways. But if I’m under the shelter of pure devotees of Krishna then I’m confident of their protection and Krishna’s potency to save conditioned souls. bhejire munayo 'thāgre bhagavantam adhokṣajam sattvaṁ viśuddhaṁ kṣemāya kalpante ye 'nu tān iha Previously all the great sages rendered service unto the Personality of Godhead due to His existence above the three modes of material nature. They worshiped Him to become free from material conditions and thus derive the ultimate benefit. Whoever follows such great authorities is also eligible for liberation from the material world. SB 1.2.25 Just sharing some wisdom which I’ve heard from great stalwart Book distributors and devotees like , HH Sivarama Swami Maharaja, HH Bhakti Vikasa Swami, HG Brgupati Prabhu, HG Vijay Prabhu, HG Divyanga Prabhu, HG Mother Kamalini, HG Mother Nidra etc who’ve been distributing books for around 54 years and are showing no signs of stopping and above all from HIS DIVINE GRACE AC BHAKTIVEDANTA SWAMI PRABHUPADA the savior of the whole world. I’d strongly recommend with all humility at my command that instead of listening to those who seem to be faithless fools committing Sruti sastra nindanam, who seem to discourage people from surrendering fully to Srila Prabhupad’s lotus feet, and rather listen to devotees who’ve proved by their example that the process works. And with even more humility I’d like to beg you to please stop being an ex book distributor and start being a book distributor again. Thank you for your well wishes, and I beg for your blessings too for it seems like you have sacrificed the best years of your life to distributing Srila Prabhupada’s books.
