The toxic positivity is what really irks me with this game. The game is not in a good place, yet these content creators keep trying to push that we have to be satisfied with the product if we love football when that isn't the way to make a product good. Criticism is what makes a product better and these content creators handle criticism as poorly as the practice squad lineman they defend on social media. It also makes me wonder if they're trying to gain friendships from defending the game rather than trying to make the game better. The problem is real friends would want you to be truthful with them about things and not just have you tell them what they want to hear. EA devs aren't real friends. They just want you to tell them what they want to hear, not what they need to hear.

Unfortunately Madden was broken before MUT. For example the kicker Ryan was talking about Olindo Mare played in the NFL in the late 90s and early 2000s before they created MUT. Madden was always broken. I’m old enough to remember playing Madden 94 and just repeatedly pressing the hurdle button while standing in place and never getting tackled. The only thing that’s changed is that technology advanced to the point where everyone can easily see and share all the broken stuff in the game.

Last Madden I purchased was when Marshal Faulk was on the cover. The running game and blocking in those games were more realistic. The best enjoyable game since then was NFL2k5. The running game and blocking was some of the most beautiful and enjoyable and realistic I have seen. I actually finished a season in those games. I can't finish a quarter in these newer Madden games.
It seems like in a few of the Madden games I have played, the more recent ones, the wind actually seems to be going in the opposite direction the arrow is showing you.

The ticker under the scoreboard shows the wrong information, the “halftime” show is just a black screen….. the new commentary sounds super robotic and don’t even get me started on the gameplay! I noticed in a snow game at Jets stadium, that during the kickoff cutscene there was less snow on the midfield logo then during gameplay. They just dont care about details.
I don't have madden but I assume it's the same thing with ncaa . You can not play the game if you turn your network off . It's a much more enjoyable experience not connected to the internet. But then Sony notifies you your game is going to be suspended because it can not verify the license. Now you spend 70 dollars on a game that you can not play. Crazy

Tiburón and the higher ups dont care about these details. We purists (and we are with a lot) care and want/demand a game that is worthwhile anno 2024. The tech is there. It is the lack of effort/caring by the developer/publisher/nfl thats the problem. Madden makes the NFL billions with the license and makes EA billions with FUT. It could be even more billions for the NFL if they open up the license, but they are too dumb to understand that. I was in TrumpetMonkeys stream on the other day, the way he was "joyful" and "exited" about the game he streamed felt so fake that it was beyond awkward. Made me feel exactly like that he just says what EA told him to. And he is definitely not the only one doing the same. I watched a whole lot of CZcams videos this year about Madden and those content creators are even more brain washed that on EAFC/FIFA ever. It is really sad to see what EA Sports has created in community of the players + creators and personally i could not ever be that kind of an person. I will not sell my soul for some packs/gamecodes/blind fanpeople viewers. I see no end to this and unfortunately i only see this continuing to get worse in the future. Madden and EAFC are both in awful state, EAFC atleast having some sort of hope for future. On NHL (which was the most important game series for me back in the day) i have already given up on, dont want to fight an hopeless fight.

EA is not a fun game for kids. I have 3 and none play it. It's just a money generator aimed at gambling addicts now. And the devs are just some gutless code monkeys that would probably prefer to be working at oracle or some other tech firm, but are stuck at EA. Tiburón and the higher ups dont care about these details. We purists (and we are with a lot) care and want/demand a game that is worthwhile anno 2024. The tech is there. It is the lack of effort/caring by the developer/publisher/nfl thats the problem. Madden makes the NFL billions with the license and makes EA billions with FUT. It could be even more billions for the NFL if they open up the license, but they are too dumb to understand that. NFL/EA are resting on the laurels, raking in a shitload of money with doing the bare mimimum to please the general crowd.
Only play Madden for player franchise, during the marketing it was never mentioned. Come to find out it’s been axed in favor of their monetized superstar mode.

I was in TrumpetMonkeys stream on the other day, the way he was "joyful" and "exited" about the game he streamed felt so fake that it was beyond awkward. Made me feel exactly like that he just says what EA told him to. And he is definitely not the only one doing the same. I watched a whole lot of CZcams videos this year about Madden and those content creators are even more brain washed that on EAFC/FIFA ever. It is really sad to see what EA Sports has created in community of the players + creators and personally i could not ever be that kind of an person. I will not sell my soul for some packs/gamecodes/blind fanpeople viewers. I see no end to this and unfortunately i only see this continuing to get worse in the future. Madden and EAFC are both in awful state, EAFC atleast having some sort of hope for future. On NHL (which was the most important game series for me back in the day) i have already given up on, dont want to fight an hopeless fight.

EA is not a fun game for kids. I have 3 and none play it. It's just a money generator aimed at gambling addicts now. And the devs are just some gutless code monkeys that would probably prefer to be working at oracle or some other tech firm, but are stuck at EA. You'd think with chat GPT they could take all your criticism, run it through ai, and have it refactor the code, but again Clint Oder-berg isn't there to improve the game, he's just managing the brand and ensuring revenues remain positive.

They really have given us some “SHIT” once again Ryan smh defense is literally unplayable. Every game is a fkn score fest. This game allows the most unskilled user to stay in the game with the average and sometimes even top tier players. It completely utter bullshit
College football 25 was the last straw for me. I knew madden wasn’t gonna be any better so I’m glad I saved my money and didn’t buy it ✅
