Gameplay is a 4/10 considering Madden 24 alone. It's below average for me. Core is everything else like depth and that's a 3 honestly but if you're pissed go ahead. 25$ is the game's worth based on the effort EA puts. Insulting me for my opinion is why asylums are needed because if you're that emotional to listen to another person's opinion then you shouldn't have conversations with others.
Im here for civil disagreement and I'm not mad at the removal if they actually added more positions to superstar. I couldn't agree more. I played against someone who ran a glitch blitz where there were 3 rushers and everyone else was in defense. Someone ran straight through the offensive line untouched every single play, and with the 8 men in coverage not a single thing could get open. After the game he messaged me and bragged about how much better he was. EA is feeding into the no-life's and not letting people who just want to enjoy the game every so often have any fun. Edit: And don't get me started on defensive ends running straight around offensive tackles untouched.
I just realized that EA took away solo battles in Madden 24. I spent 6 months putting together a great team in MUT, no money spent, and I can’t even use them because they are trying to force me into Madden 25. Nope. FU EA. You lock legend players into MUT and then take away the ability to use them. Why not let us use our MUT team offline after the new Madden comes out? Scumbag developers. Will never buy another Madden.

I docked points for that in gameplay and core. It's also a reason i gave core a 3/10 poorly implemented depth. The switch stick rarely works. I still struggle to switch a linebacker to a safety by that time my DBs are already cooked and the receiver is already in the endzone.
From the moment the quarterback throws the ball at this receiver the game has decided this will be a completion. Nothing else matters except for the predetermined outcome so the game just shifts the players and warps them into that outcome.
It’s the DDA, algorithm or whatever name we use. When the cpu learns that you are good playing, THIS BULLSHIT THINGS start to happen. Your OL doesn’t block in pass/run. Your 99 LT is EASILY, constantly beat it by a 69 DL. Your 99 edge rusher can’t beat a 68 RT. It’s the way the Game cheats. Automatic throws that the cpu knows it’s gonna be completed. GROSSLY OPI by the CPU WRs who block your CB to the WR to get wide open. User’s WRs who are WIDE OPEN and drop the ball. It’s not a glitch. It’s not a bug. ITS PROGRAMMING, AND ITS CHEATING. but, for EA, this is the way to give the gamers a “CHALLENGE”.

The DB (#26)who ran straight at Nelson would of never happened. He would have hit the gap hard instead and Nelson would have had to slide to his left. Zones are broken, cover 4 db's keep backing up, zone drops not working, they took away match button to toggle it on and off, getting killed because my db's keep backing up deep, flats keep backing up even when set to zero, or even match, hooks keep backing up following people, no need to play until this supposed update/patch

I usually never complain about games but man Madden 25 is so ass, CFB25 pre pursuit angle / spin move patch is miles better than Madden The amount of time it takes to snap the ball or make any adjustments is INSANE Zone Drops don’t work, hell they don’t even play zones lol They added hit stick timing.. Cool but noo way in hell you break this many tackles Gameplay is super sluggish, everyone feels like they’re running through quicksand They removed the ability to see uniforms in playnow, hell you can’t even pick random teams anymore
I don't know how anyone can buy this trash like they do. I've seen enough of these videos from several creators that I will NEVER touch another Madden game until they fix all of this garbage. I noticed back in 2010ish that the game was becoming horrible. I'd rather play Madden on Genesis than play this crap. Zones are broken, cover 4 db's keep backing up, zone drops not working, they took away match button to toggle it on and off, getting killed because my db's keep backing up deep, flats keep backing up even when set to zero, or even match, hooks keep backing up following people, no need to play until this supposed update/patch
I’m not even ever gonna bother waiting for ea to make a good football game…Until there is some kind of urgency to make a good game it wont happen..And they’re just plain not good at making sports games..But you don’t have to be good when you’re the only guy in town.

The amount of time it takes to snap the ball or make any adjustments is INSANE

Gameplay is super sluggish, everyone feels like they’re running through quicksand
They removed the ability to see uniforms in playnow, hell you can’t even pick random teams anymore

I don't know how anyone can buy this trash like they do. I've seen enough of these videos from several creators that I will NEVER touch another Madden game until they fix all of this garbage. I noticed back in 2010ish that the game was becoming horrible. I'd rather play Madden on Genesis than play this crap. At least then, the game was enjoyable and I didn't feel like I was getting ripped off.

That reciever being pulled back into an animation is crap. NCAA 25 is soooo much better. Madden made up for sales by bundling madden with NCAA 25. I fell into the trap but I won't next year.

Man I haven't bought madden since 2013. I remember every year being so stoked for madden season because back then you never knew what new was going to be on new copy. Upgraded graphics everything. Well I stopped at 2013 because even the It was like 5 years where it was starting to become a worse version of the year before. What a shame man.
