I’m putting a 77 dodge crew cab on a 95 chassis I’m gonna have to cut that firewall out a little bit so I’ll have room for the radiator and intercooler
I see in this video that you installed the oil cooler, but there was no mention of whether you replaced this part: 3936365. It costs $15 and should be replaced with the new stronger version. The ones that Dodge had installed used a thinner wire spring and would not hold good oil pressure. When mine finally failed, my idle OP was less than 10 psi, at 2000 rpm I could barely hold 30 psi, and a cold start was also very low psi. After replacing that valve, my OP is 24 psi at idle, ~50 at cruising speed, and roughly 62.5 on a cold morning start. Most people are not aware of that valve as it doesn't come in a rebuild kit.

Engine looks beautiful! I originally picked some old school Dodge 2 tone colors for Long Bed Larry. Silver and midnight blue. With that engine, I am now second guessing myself. I think ...... You threw a curve at me. LOL I picked the Cummins beige for my OBS Fummins project but I'm not letting my paint combo out of the bag. Nice build man! Following along ......

I noticed you are put high temperature paint on your new ATS manifold I bought an ATS manifold on and 05 years ago six years ago I just wish they would’ve told me to do that when I got it I figure while it’s ready to go on yeah but the thing looks real rusty now looks like shit I just wish a TS would’ve mentioned that I just didn’t know but yours looks really nice and you did a beautiful job on your engine this is six in a row jim From Kennerdell Pennsylvania

Yes, I've got all the parts to get it up to 400-450 HP. I'll be doing all that this month and headed to a local dyno event on May 7th. Glad to hear your d250 is back up and going! What were you doing to it?
She was just laid up needing an injection pump. I ended up borrowing a spare from a buddy, and installing it. I've been a marine mechanic for 20+ years, mostly way bigger stuff. I really like how much you accomplish with minimum space and tools! I put a gov spring and fuel pin in her with your assistance, Thank you very much!
