I can't believe how grounded and stable it feels going over all of the transitions. Veterans Day weekend was a blast! Oldsmobile hill does not disappoint, tons of people to race/watch. Car looks right at home on the sand! Glad you're sticking to the Maverick R, seems like its just a different type of SXS and some people don't want to stick to it and get used to it. It is looking more and more impressive the more seat time you're getting in it
Ya driving a Sxs for one day just doesn’t give you the full effect when comparing to your last one I will say it takes more time getting used to it than most sxs but after getting used to it. It is impressive

Maverick R is awesome for sure but that olds race is a little misleading. Both RZRs have walkers so you make up a lot of ground on the suspension alone through the bottom whoops. The pro r went up right next to the turbo r, no way he was going as fast as he could have. I use the tensors on my 2 seat Turbo r. I don’t race, only dune but I have no issue getting anywhere with them. Cool video guys! Im a fan!
Agree, Mav R also has more aggressive paddles. While I don't think a Pro R would outrun a Mav R even in an apples to apples race, the Mav R certainly wouldn't have walked it from behind like it did here.
Not sure if he was using 4wd but that always helped me with sliding
He was but my tire set up is much more aggressive so it helps

First day in it it’s odd feeling the more miles the better I like it
Believe me if you put some time in the maverick R it's a fantastic car. It feels weird coming from a belt driven rig into one of these but after some seat time there is no other car I'd rather be in. It's a beast.

It wouldn't matter of it was the two seater the maverick r is still faster than the polaris. I've seen too many races stock to stock and the mav is faster. I still love the polaris but this car is amazing. Ps were are your jump vids?
How does it compare to the newer xrs RR speedwise now that you have paddles? I was out there this veterans and raced a yellow maverick R and a black maverick R and beat them both by a few car lengths on the drags in a bone stock xrs rr with low budget cst paddles, niether of them had paddles though so it wasnt a fair comparison. I love the looks of the new maverick and i am really considering a new one but not totally convinced yet since i have a late model xrsRR
XRS RR with Evo Stage 3 turbo would beat the Maverick R. But as soon as the Evo tune comes out for the Mav R it’s going to be tough to beat!

Could you go more in-depth on what you mean transition to transition versus bowl to bowl
Running the ridges still bowl bowl but looking for more difficult lines. Popping out of bowls sooner and staying more on top of the hills. Not saying we are the only ones but just harder lines to make it more difficult

@markb9241 might have to disagree with you on that one ...arrogant company but they do innovate, first company to bring out a pure sport sxs , first one with a 2.0 liter engine , plus with front shocks on the lower control arm.
