Nf3 is a gm move, only gm's can hop their knights all the way across the board from b8 to f3 in one move. That's the gm secret
That is why you never be a GM. Every GM (maybe even IM!) knows that he meant the knight from g8, not b8. Didn't he say "easy"??

10:43 easy way to stop it..play Nf3 as black. Might be a little difficult lol
You need a GM norm with a production team to understand that deep recommendation, it's above our heads, common mortals
Aman: "Everyone's entitled to their opinion... yours is wrong... but you're entitled to it"
You have to be a GM to see Nf3 as black
nah its just theory
now i know why i’m not a GM
only GMs can play Nf3 as black
In all of life, there is a rhythm.
In all of life there is a rhythm.
meruem is that u?
In all of Chessbrah's videos, there is this comment.
I like how you explain what you're doing really concisely but also really well, keep it up👌
Enjoyed your analysis. Enjoy seeing the reasoning behind the moves. Makes the game more beautiful.
Your videos is chill instructive chess thank you GM Hambleton 💯
I mean when I watch aman play chess I get vibes of me being able to play at a high level. For some reason his simple explanations make me see like 5 moves ahead with ease. I'm sure I'm this dudes soul mate
Get a room, lol
Use your inner voice Frances, inner voice
It's crazy how I play the sicilian myself and he plays lines and moves that i recognize from my own games that would take me minutes of intense thinking to find like its the most casual thing ever
He propably has had over 10k c3 sicilians
The opponent in the first game is a pretty strong 1500 considering he was able to drag it to the endgame
Very true, but Aman was simply just letting all the trades happen since he was up a pawn. I surely would have blundered at some point, so kudos to the player
Can you guys post a sub battles vid again? I love watching those
Good video, ty
I only play the wing gambit against the sicilian now
smith morra is a ton of fun as well!
Or just Bb5 and grind black down from often comfortable positions.
Or just play open sicilian because it's the most solid and aggressive. Also the most legendary opening of all time.
10:05 main variation Qa4+ Kd8, Ne7+ Kc8, Re8+ Qd8 , Rxd8 mate
I’m glad I found your channel. Now I might actually learn something.
check out his "building habits" series. it's awesome
Thanks. I'm a 1650+ player. My opponents often give me the center and I do not know how to seize full control thinking that playing a pawn on the 5th rank over extends my pawns.
Analyze your games with computer. Try to follow it's suggested lines, try to comprehend why it says +1 for the positions you mention.
it really depends on the position. Concretely calculate the line and evaluate.
So this is where Ludwig broke Charlie's Sicilian defense.
hikaru would mark it as a win after d4 in one of his speedruns
it would already be marked as a win 19 games before
Call me crazy, but I play the jalalabad whenever someone plays C3 against the Sicilian
Can you please tell me which is the first track in the video? It's brutal
10:06 Qf7+, Kd8, Qe7+, Kc8, d7+, if Kc7 then d8=Q# or if Kb8 then d8=Q+, queen takes and then Qxd8#
Can someone confirm if this is correct?
It is. I thought the same thing.
At what level do you get to add this to the rules for habits
probably 1500 like the opponents he’s playing
Anyone else notice fast these 1500's and 1600's play? I recently picked up chess again on chess.com on a new account and it was a real struggle in the beginning because I was always behind on the clock against them whenever I started thinking about my moves, and like Aman I was beating them in position but because I lack the premove technique I lose on time (I have no idea how Aman does that multiple premove thing). In that elo it feels like the majority of them are just trying to flag opponent instead of playing good moves. I've decided to settle for playing basically on intuition until I win something and then slow down, which is working as I'm finally past that elo at 1850 and hopefully will be past 2000 again soon.
Its in the settings on chess.com
This the dude that be listening to gym music while playing chess. Now I remeber him

In all of yeap, there is a nope!
after watching the grobs attack and jerome gambit and the way u r so cool with ur music...i too have started listening to dark industrial goth metal tracks when at war.
not that u r gonna reply, given ur busy schedules but gm Aman.....would u sayd kings indian is a good defense for black......which is ur fav black opening?
not aman, but hikaru said king’s indian is a difficult opening to play, given that down the line you need to know more specific theory just to keep the position drawn. although i imagine that applies only at a gm level. his favorite opening is the najdorf sicilian as black
KI is tricky because of the theory base required for solid gameplay, but if you're willing to study it's excellent
Whats that track in the beginning called?
Please someone answer me. Is it possible to play with time odds as a member? If yes how can I reduce my time?
i dont know

9:47 Qa4+, Kd8, Nf7+, Kc8, Qe8++. There's your mate. If the black Queen blocks on c6, you take the Queen with the Knight with discovered check. Game virtually over.
i think i always run into this... anyone know the right moves to stop it. thanks
I like to play d5 against c3. If white takes exd5 I retake with the queen. The white knight can no longer harass my Queen because the pawn is taking c3, so a knight cannot land there. I then develop my light squared bishop to g4 and exchange it for the f3 knight, play e6 and castle short.
15:16 was mate

Sicilian The only opponents i know hhh
On the flip side: If you want to play the sicilian youll learn a variation just to realize 95% of your games are against anti sicilians

Well then if you study how to counter sicilian you'll win a ton of games :p
@@BeFourCM That's like saying 'omg, my opponents keep playing solid first moves against me, it SUCKS' haha
I wish my opponents played bad first moves against me so I could win :(
i thought you werent supposed dto play nf6 if they can play e5. The guy didn't but what does the knight do if it gets harassed and your light squared bishop gets stuck on c1 or d2, idk chess is hard
Its supposed to be
3. e5 Nd5.
The Light squared bishop often gets traded with whites LSB, for example
4. Nf3 Nc6 5. d4 cxd4 6. Bc4 [sharper than the recapture] Nb6 7. Bb3 d5 8. exd6 Qxd6 9. 0-0 Be6. Either white will trade then or black the next move.
If 6. cxd4 d6 7. Bc4 Nb6 8. Bb5 Bd7 white get's an isolated queens pawn and trading light square bishops helps black control the light square in front of the IQP

Hey I finally made a video. “He’s what not do do”. Fuck!
Aman likes protein bars. Just got my pullover hoodie bc y'all were sold out of zip up in my size. Checked store today and of course it's in stock. I don't know if I can get away with with a pull over with today's nyc temp of 71 F going up to 81 F. It's supposed to be windy though.
14:41 is there a reason I’m not seeing that Bd3 doesn’t work?
You lose bishop on E3, because you have to take back queen with your queen or you lose yours
@@Mj-kl3rb That is only after black plays h5, a missed win. If black would have played Bd3 instead of h5 then black would be up the exchange
The disco makes me sick.

When people started playing alapin against me I just learned Alekhine’s
why? you can get great iso pawn positions vs alapin as black?
2:42 he could take bishop with pawn on b7 why he didn't?
He probably didn’t want to have isolated A and C pawns

How to stop c3 d4?
You can't
After c3 play d5 stopping them play d4
As black play nf6 or d5
e4 c5 c3 Nf6 e5 Nd5 d4 is a theoretical line
@@user-lt9oc8vf9y thats not even the beginning of a theoretical line lol
Play with elo 1300??
I think chess.com should put a sound that plays every time it’s your turn when you’re under 10 seconds, not just when you cross 10 seconds. I have lost so many games like this that I could’ve won because I was under 10 seconds for a long time and eventually forgot
14:18 what if RF5
you just play Bc6 and trade queens
WTH???? Why did black move his king to g8 at 7:07??? All he had to do was to take the queen instead on f6???
the queen was a premove (marked by the red squares), the king got checked by the pawn on h6 then had to move away from it thus not being able to take the queen on f6.
is it just me or is Aman sounding more and more like Yasser?
Yees Yeess....this reminds of a tournament I played in 1978
2:50 checkmate blunder :(
if you mean rook d1 for black no cause he was under check, he had to take the bishop back or move the king
wtf how did that 1500 beat him??
Didn't you see, it was on time. It's okay because Aman obviously wasn't caring about his time.
I love this guy, so funny. he is so chill Im surprised Alexandra has not hooked up with heim yet.

That's why I tell them, just to make them think -- if possible -- they're not as great as they think they are. I know it's no use but I don't care...
I think that's just a matter of taste. I mean, no offense, but if you're going to tell people that they're not as great as they think they are, have you ever consider that maybe it's you that's not that great? Just saying, cause it sure didn't come across that way. Again, no offense.
@@praisethesun6532
True, it is a matter of taste, even if there is good taste and bad taste...
Now, as you suggest, I am certainly not as "great" as I like to think I am... The difference is that _I know it_ , and that I do not wake up every morning, repeating "I'm the best" in front of the mirror...
If any guy recognizes himself by this, it would be pure coincidence only, of course...
c3 is literally the only opening i play as white and everyone always says it's terrible (might be) so kinda refreshing to see a GM play it. thanks for showing some lines
c3 against sicilian is cool :)
the engine says it goes from small + to 0, but it seems to take my opponent out of their prep, and I get d4 for free
@@ykl1277 yeah that seems to be my ideas. Also lots of attacking opportunities if they don't play perfect and in my elo area it seems players are much better at attacking than defending so getting them on the backfoot is ideal

Lesson learned for all lower rated players in the opening: Don't fuck up because you think "you've seen something no one else has ever seen before." Trust me, just play normal moves. When you have the GM title you can start to fuck around. If ever.
but the people you play against should be around your level. Low rated players aren't going to be playing people who will easily punish them normally.
And if you want to hate chess, try 1 week play against a top engine. The frustration is inimitable.
