- In the last part of this episode, I help Kim and her Australian Shepherd Mix, Luke. Luke's main issue is trusting other humans. He gets aggressive and tries to bite them. Kim wants to give him a better life.

Oh I remember this one. Very hard not to pity a dog that has disability and went through rough time. I understand where Kim is coming from but for Luke's sake she has to push that pity aside and bring the positive and strong energy to give Luke a chance at a good life❤
Exactly.. we have to change our attitudes and look at it a different way with dogs. Being sad and sympathising is NOT good for dogs and is the opposite of kind..
I love that she had a bit of a breakthrough at the end when she said he had trained her more than Luke. Once you realized you have to start at step one before you can get to step five, you’re on the right path!
Remember the best saying I heard was-That's why the rear view mirror is so small and the driver's mirror is much bigger
I think she is a kind and strong person. Happy life with your dog!❤

This woman has a great attitude! She didn't get defensive and I'm sure Luke will make the progress Cesar initiated
She is a wonderful woman for helping a disabled dog with such love and compassion. It was also sad to read that this Animal Hope & Wellness center closed and is no longer open here in Los Angeles.

Oh this one touched my heart. I am so much like Kim ...I baby my dogs so much and fuss over them , at times, to their own detriment. It is no fault of theirs. What a sweet lady she is . I wish her and her sweet dog the best of life❤❤❤

It's one thing to have pain inflicted on you while you are conscious but so different, pain and fear wise, when you are unconscious. His whole leg was removed while he was unconscious so he has no association of pain or fear with it nor a memory of its actual removal. It was there (with no foot) before falling asleep and not there when he woke up. That is all he knows about that loss. Totally different from the torture he suffered that caused the pain and fear he previously experienced. He has no pain nor fear associated with "Mom".
Remember dogs that are 'handicapped' to us. are not to themselves.And they wonder why everyone doesn't have three legs

My old veterinarian had a 3 legged dog that used to go everywhere with him, that dog didn't seem bothered at all by the fact he was short one leg. He was just a normal dog, in every way..

Dogs can experience joy or satisfaction from working with people. But do you think they can experience the sense of meaning? "I am a member of this human's pack and what I do helps the pack leader."
And I'm speaking from experience with my own dog.Everyone really needs to Clear that pity That , feeling sorry for him cause, like kids he is Taking advantage of that and knows how to push your buttons
I remember this lady. I needed therapy after listening to her whine. The dog didn't whine. I just hoped she learned about her own behaviour and assumptions after she watched herself on film. How many times does Cesar have to share on his shows that dog's don't live in the past???????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????? There was one show where he was called to a vet's ofc/dog adoption where the dog hadn't been outside in 2-years. He was so UPSET! People didn't want to hear that they kept the dog trapped insode out of their own misplaced pity NOT actually b/c the dog was still scared. He took the dog outside that day.
Just hope this meat market stops. Pray for punishes all those that hurt animals in the same way. Poor dog 🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾

Just a suggestion maybe you should stop talking about it.Cause it's kinda like opening a new wound. Cause even though he has moved on and he's living in the present, You are not and you really need to. In order to help him And i'm confident that you can do it cause you even said it aloud

Most of these sketchy retail rescues make up sob stories about the dogs. This dog wasn't rescued from the "meat market". It was probably a street dog or bought at auction.
