Lol you guys are my people!!! I love that Ben was disappointed she sniffed her tomato without him. I have learned so much from your channel. He's such a tomato trooper supporting you in tasting your bazillion varieties. You do a great job of showing us each tomato and your descriptions are legit the best on youtube. I wish you a lot of channel success!
I just love these videos you guys are great đ
Thanks Jerry. I appreciate you saying so. Thanks so much for watching. đ
I love the mountains in the backdrop đ
Yâall are too funny, and so are these tomato names đ
Thank so much. Ben and just recorded a couple more outside but I tell ya recording outside definitely has its disadvantages. đ€Ł.

You got me started on the green tomatoes and i have to say AS A WHOLE, the GWR tomatoes have been the best for flavor this year! Any "anthos" don't have the flavor to match the appearance. I'll grow more greens and less reds next year!
I grew so many new to me GWR and Iâm so glad I did. They have definitely been my favorites. Fruity and fun and gorgeous tomatoes. Iâm glad youâve given them a try.
Tomatoes must taste different when grown in different locations my favorite tomato is Ananas Noire which is also known as black pineapple and didn't think green giant was anything special had 13 people tasting and everyone liked the Ananas Noire best.
Iâm going to source seeds from somewhere else and try again. I keep hearing that so Iâm going to try it again. Thanks for your comment. đ
Moonstone sounds like a good candidate for a flavorful salsa! I'll look for seeds! â€
Oh yes I bet it would definitely be very good for that. đ
Iâm going to have to live vicariously thru you. This year Iâve learned that with the amount of sauce, ketchup, and diced tomatoes I need to can, Iâve really got to give more space to the paste. But Iâll watch you guys have all the fun!
Iâm disappointed about Monkeys Ass, I grew a lot of yellow tomatoes this year and I want to grow more large reds next year. Cowlick brandywine was my favorite red year, Iâm looking for more full flavored reds.
Iâve got 2 freezers full of tomatoes just waiting to become something delicious in a can. Paste varieties definitely have more meat to them. Iâm glad you enjoy watching me grow the many many varieties đ
Yes same. Iâm probably only going to get around 8 total tomatoes off my plant too. Oh well. Thereâs just so many more I want to try next year.

I so enjoy your videos, especially these taste test videos. Looks like I need to get Abraham Green seeds
You absolutely do. As of right now itâs my #1. Iâll be doing a top 10 tomatoes video at the end of the season.
You could tell us a little more, i would like to know if they were prolific or didnât produce well. Iâm sure you will say something some time, but this would make me remember which ones are worth growing.
I definitely have done some taste tests after this one where I let ya know a little more now that Iâm further into the season but I do plan on doing a video after the season of my top 10 best and worst. đ
Hey Jen did you do a video recently about saving tomato seeds? I am looking for it could you or someone else please tell me which video it was? There was something I want to see again. Maybe it was some time ago also. Thank you
Hi there. I did a video last year but I will be recording a new updated one for this year soon. Hereâs last years czcams.com/video/arvZ8cGU6F4/video.htmlsi=_70ZecEFyk_FzQpH
Yes that is the one I saved it to a playlist of seed saving. When I found your channel I scanned way back watching all of or bits and pieces of several of them. This was one of them. Thank you for finding it!@@jencordial
You are very very welcome. I just put up a new one with a new method I used to save seeds this year using OxiClean.
You two are too cute. Are you eating marker on the bottom of the tomatoes? I saw you feed hubby a whole written on section. Thank you I enjoy these videos and taste tests!
Sharpie - "is that a chemical flavor". đ
@@SerialSpinner-ss Hey you know what? I think he didn't like that one tomato where he ate the whole slice that had it đ
I saw that but I want going to say anything but since y'all brought it up!!....LOL
I thought I was being careful to cut away from the wording. At the beginning of harvesting I was putting stickers with names on them but they would fall off or get stuck to another tomato. And writing directly on it saved me some precious time. I just had so so many varieties and keeping track of what was what was hard. Iâll try not to do that again. Iâm thinking Iâll invest in some food markers for next year.
If you were ever wanting to "do him in" that was the perfect opportunity! Accidental poisoning and everybody is a witness! BAHAHAHA he better be watching you more carefully!
Do you think the thicker skinned tomatoes resist cracking better? If so, I wouldn't mind the thick skin.
In my opinion I think so. At least thatâs been my experience. This year we didnât really have much rain so I had very little cracking of any of my tomatoes except for some very thinned skinned cherry varieties.
Are you videotaping this with the camera pointing at a mirror?
No im using my phone with the front camera and the mirroring the video when I edit it.
Don't write on it with the marker, how can you eat it with all the writings?
I just peel away the part thatâs written on when I go to process it.
