Another bunch of great tomatoes to try in the future , thanks again for doing these taste tests they really do help people decide what they want to grow.
Have a great day 😊
Glad you like them! As always I hope you have a fantastic day Jerry ❤️
1994 does feel like yesterday...but...no, sadly. I feel that.
So many tomatoes! Can’t wait for the reviews this winter.
I’ve definitely got quite a few ideas. Top 20 mine and then Bens
My never grow agains
Top cherries.
So many ideas so little time. 😁
@@jencordial Top bi colors. Top Beefsteaks. Top Dwarfs. Top cherry. Top greens. Top Yellows. Top orange. Top misc.. I love tomatoes too 😋🍅
I’m glad I’m not the only one who ends up with tomatoes on the floor! (And every flat surface!)
It was like an obstacle course for a few weeks. 🤣
Sinyaya Grusha (Blue Pear) and Kryptonite seem to be the wrong varieties. Glad you liked the Big Yellow Simpson!
Is this Blue Pear the same as the one from Baker Creek because I did grow that one this year and it was definitely very different from this one. I’ve already retraded for the green looking Kryptonite so here’s hoping next year I get the real one. 😁
@@jencordial I think this Blue Pear is not the same variety. 🤔
In high school biology our whole class tasted strips of paper all the same. And, because everyone has different taste buds and some people reported tasting bitter taste, some sour and some sweet. You have to consider that any two people may taste something different in the same tomato. I love sweet tomatoes. I think he meant 1896 not 1996.
Interesting story. Thanks for sharing it. It is interesting how different we all can be. I can’t remember what he was talking about when he mentioned the year. Refresh my memory?
@@jencordial he kept saying 1996
Im glad pineapple pig was a winner , got seeds for that awhile back and plan to grow it next year. That kryptonite looks more like solar flare sort of
You are right. It does look like solar flare. I hadn’t even thought of that one but it really really does Good eye. I’ve retraded so hopefully I’ll get it right next year.
Jen! The Pineapple Pig is beautiful! Nice to meet you today!!!
It was a wonderful tomato all around. It was lovely meeting you today as well. Hopefully we’ll cross paths again. Thanks for watching and supporting my CZcams dream. 🥰
I have grown pineapple Pig for the last 3 years. Love that tomato. That one will be in my garden every year, as well as Ananas Noir. Going to have to get seeds for Big Yellow Simpson.
I had some really really good ones this year. I can’t wait to share my top 20 with everyone.
I grew Sinyaya Grusha (Ukrainian strain) this year and mine were virtually black with antho, so yes, as mentioned below, it's not the correct one. It's roughly the right shape but totally missing the antho. I reckon around 8-10% of the 53 varieties I grew this year were the wrong seed - and all from suppliers rather than swaps!
Thanks for letting me know this. I know I’ve had around 20 this year that I need to retrade for. Ya win some ya lose some. 😁
The infamous Chupa Chups! 😂😝
I can’t believe I missed editing this one. Here I was talking in every video since about it and no one knew what the heck I was talking about. 🤣🤣
@@jencordial 🤣 It happens.
Sinyaya Arusha in Russian blue pear
Thank you 😊
Chupa Chups sounds like it tastes like Blue Beauty. I think Blue Beauty is the most bland, grossest, mealy tomato I've ever had the misfortune of eating.
I bet you got the seeds for Butterscotch Beefsteak from Ken Fry.
I’ve never grown Blue Beauty. I know I have seeds for it. Guess it’ll be one I grow once I’ve grown all the other tomatoes 🤣. And yea I got Butterscotch Beefsteak from Ken.
Kryptonite is a green tomato. Yours is not the real deal. lol My Kryps are tasty too.
I’ve traded again for them so here’s hoping next years are the real deal. 🥰
