    Great video, thank you. DeltaJSON is really useful for DBMs working with JSON data structures, it does compare, merge and graft via API service.

    Appreciate your effort trying to teach the concepts! Few things to keep in mind regarding your explanation, parts of the structural flexibilities such as nested document, array of items, etc. come from JSON as data format, this not a MongoDB specific or provided feature, any NOSQL document centric data store will provide this flexibility.

    Oracle also supports unstructured Data in JSON or XML format. You can mix both models in the same DB.

    Q: What about indexes? Do mongoDB have indexes to speed up search ?

      I get the impression that there is some type of index, but that noSQL databases, including MongoDB are very fast at writing data and comparatively slow at searching for it, and building things like joins across tables.

    While introducing mongoDb you highlighted the two documents with different colors but for some reason it was fading to gray and I reviewed that section multiple times thinking the stuff I smoked is too good that the colors are starting to fade and come back! XD
