Really good to see you making videos. The cherry i cut in april 2022. The mango was cut in February of 2022. I have no idea what the humidity is in the mitten. I have a dehydrator and I dry the cherry to 8%. It still moves and twists. Beautiful wood but I hate working it.

I would put black UV resin on those pin holes ust or contrast with the yellow and gold flames.
the light has to be able to penetrate the resin to cure it or I would have done something like that

How do we know you're back in good form? Effectively fixing problems.
I have some old resin that I thought about maybe making some summertime craft castings with my daughter but I'm afraid it's so yellowed and going to cure in such an unpredictable way that I should probably just dispose of it. Maybe this fall I will try to do a few more wood and resin projects.
Looking forward to seeing the conclusion of this one.
Back in good form? I'm just trying to make myself get out there and make something, lol I am sure I could have made the resin work better if I hadn't poured 3 quarts of it all at once.

My husband and I have a question. After watching many episodes of your wood turnings….
The plastic circles that are engraved with your logo on them. Where did you purchase them? Did you engrave them yourself? How did you color them?

Thank You Patty, so I have had a vouple different guys make those logo coins for me, I got the laser so I could make my own but didn't realize that a diode laser can't do it, or I would be making them myself, normally I just use paint to color the logo's that way i can customize it to the colors in the bowl

Was that a horse file you were using around 5:00 to take the sharp edges off? Do you still have horses? I know you broke your pelvis when you flew off one.....
it's just a file, I do not have the horses anymore, I didn't fly off the horse I fell over it, horse never moved.
@@PohlBarnProductions ok, thank you for the explanation Doug. It was a very smart idea you filing down the edges with a way less expensive lathe-type tool. I forget what else I wanted to say...lol.
