@@VeiTheOne sometimes the special caves generate very very small, e.g. an abyssal chasm spawns but instead of being a vast aquatic ecosystem it's just a puddle with a few big fish. Sadly it's just a Minecraft-side issue, since preventing this issue would require making changes to the way caves generate. Could actually be possible, but would be about as far from easy as it gets.
This is honestly such a great mod. Each new cave feels like it could've been packaged as it's own mod, yet here Alex is treating us to all **5* at once! It's so crazy to me that each cave feels so unique and separate from the overworld, they all feel like entirely different dimensions! Edit: Also, huge thanks to you yourself! This video really concisely gives an idea of what this mod is all about. I was honestly a little intimidated by it at first, but you've helped me understand it a lot better, and I'm definitely going to be giving it a try. Edit 2: Forgot it's 5 caves not 4, whoops!
I think the reason this mod is so great is the fact that the caves are so rare, all the mechanics and mobs are great... but, it would really suck if you were just trying to mine for some diamonds and suddenly, a you're in a radioactive cave. it also encourages exploration, which is very good since the base game doesn't have much exploration that you can just find by using an elytra.
absolutely wonderful video, you are so far the only youtuber that has said that Alex's caves requires the citadel mod which i didn't see on the mod page and now i can finally play the mod thank you so much for the help.
Am I dreaming or was there talk from him about a green radioactive godzillaesque TRex added in the mod that came about as something to do with primordial and toxic cave?
It's Tremorzilla, he's a variant of Tremorsaurus that will probably require something from the Toxic Caves to make him Tremorzilla, I don't know if he'll be a mount or a boss battle, but it will be added in future mod updates
Oh okay whew, for a while after seeing these showcases I thought I entirely imagined that addition lol. Was there ever a dev video that showcased the Tremorzilla or just word references to it?@@OaoFlamen
i love how each of them have their own theme and genre ig idk what else to call it but like one is for majority taming one has a big boss battle two for techy stuff like a quarry and nukes and ones all about trading each different in theme but also style of gameplay

i felt that this mod would be too off putting and be in that awkward area between pure vanilla and fully modded but luckily it isnt, although im still not sure if ill be able to run it ;-;
So you managed to get shaders working with the mod despite them recommending not doing that?? Why is it works then? Or what doesn’t work? I would also like to use shaders and am wondering what issues I might run into
@@VoidPh0enix hell nah, performance is trash on forge. I will never give up 120fps with shaders and 28 chunks. If I d be playing forge with those settings it would bend itself over and get obliterated. #FabricSupremacy
yes having no shaders sucks i was also having an issue entirely with rubidium making the game crash occasionally i got rid of it games been stable so i cant even have optimization which if i wanted to add this in a bigger pack could be problematic im not sure if theres a fix for the rubidium issue or something but im pretty sure he said its incompatible too which could be your nucleeper crash issue not sure as a whole tho the mods amazing i have a pack with around 50 in total nothing game breaking big either and its been amazing just build a quarry so ive been afking
From what I understand he's not using a shader, since the mod specifically advises you not use shaders for the best results. Which is mind-blowing, to think that the mod looks so pretty with vanilla lighting!
This is an amazing mod and mod showcase, however I only have one small, minuscule, insignificant, complaint. That complaint is that pteranodons aren’t dinosaurs, they are a cousin of dinosaurs.

i reported the tiny cave bug and the creator of the mod said "normal vanilla issue" so i dont think he is gonna fix it

Have you tried with forgeified fabric? It’s a forge mod, that allows you to use fabric mods on forge

I use Capcut to edit my videos, and those were the different fonts available. (fyi capcut is free)

I found an extremely weird bug where ALL raycats are invisible. (Btw I have complementary shaders on)
And it doesn’t get fixed when I turn off shaders
Another weird thing is if I put a name tag on it the name is invisible
