Nice work Evan! I would advise newbies to NOT buy everything that they THINK will sell on ebay. You will have a huge pile of unlisted stuff sitting in a room of your house for longer than you hoped! (true life experience).
Nice video, Flippy! Could you do a video on how you shoot and edit your CZcams videos? Thanks@
100% agree!
Experience truth😅
Omg...guilty🙄 learning the hard way.
Was dying about the shipping part 😂 I work seasonal for ups and with their 20 second in and out time limit... Yes, they will drop kick that package to your door.
It's true!🤣
One of my favorites! Thanks for the great advice!
Appreciate that! Thank you
New subscriber and just wanted to say thank you for keeping the video simple and to the point. I am 3 years into my reselling journey and really enjoy it. I love golf! Hey it might time for a golf outing of resellers. I recently started my own CZcams channel on what sold and tips. Dang Mapquest…..definitely going to check out again.
Appreciate you watching! I hope your golf game is better than mine!🤣
Great thank you 🎉I love Vinted not so clued up on EBay, this was really helpful; especially the EBay last sold price
Definitely gotta look at sold pricing, people can ask anything they want for stuff. It doesn't mean they'll get it though😁
Thank you Evan!
I've been reselling part-time for years, and I was still excited to watch your video, lol I've actually been thinking about using My Reseller Gennie. Gonna look up some CZcams videos and check it out with your code. Thanks for all you do, and have a great Thanksgiving with your beautiful family ❤
I appreciate that. I think you will like it. Once you get through the initial set up it's pretty automatic.
Happy Thanksgiving Evan! Luv ur Vids!
Hope yours is wonderful as well! Don't eat too much😂
Great job Evan! You were on point. I love seeing resellers talk about the “how to” more often. When I started out I was searching high and low for this kind of information. I would really like to hear more about how people source golf clubs. I have been finding and buying more clubs lately but often wonder if I am making the right decisions. I have sold several, but have some that are sitting in inventory. They were slow sellers to begin with so I will have to wait. Looking forward to the next video! Thanks!
Golf clubs around here are all about persistence. Just gotta keep going. Like everything else just check your comps and sell through rates. Good luck and thanks for watching!
Evan, You did a Super Great Video on 101!! Your Comments are showing a very Favorable Response!!! Thanks for giving some excellent tips!! I hope you have a Happy Sunday!!! 🤗♥️👍
Thank you!
Great, very informative video! Thanks for sharing your wealth of knowledge and experience with us!! This is so helpful. I hope you and your family had a fantastic Thanksgiving! 🦃
Glad it was helpful! Hope your Thanksgiving was fantastic as well!
I wish more of these videos existed when I first started out!
Also: Mapquest 🙌🏻
Also also: that gnome photoshop is everythingggggg 💝
I love me some MapQuest....and gnomes!😂
Yes it is. I was having coffee and almost spit it out...made my day! 😂
Awesome Job Evan. Hope You’ll Have A Happy Thanksgiving!!
Thanks! You too!
I’m starting to flip shoes and your video is really well made! You earned a sub
Awesome! Thank you!
Good video dude. Happy Thanksgiving to you and your family.
Thank you! Hope yours was great as well!
I enjoy watching your videos.
Thanks Geno!
Good vid. Start with what you know (me - vintage start wars and coins). Now I need more inventory. Packaging: yes, I imagine that same guy handling whatever I ship out. Happy Thanksgiving! Go Tigers!
Appreciate you! ...and Go Tigers!
Great video, Evan. Very informative and simple to follow. I especially loved the notebook. 😉
Some dude gave it to me🤷♂️
@flippymcflipperson some dude gave me a Magnalite Pot that sold for $39 last night. And a vintage North Face parka that sold for $50. I feel like I owe him more than lunch!
@@sodacityflips I'm happy they are out of my way and happy you are making money on them. It's a win-win!
@@flippymcflipperson well I greatly appreciate it, my friend!
I actually hate the barcode scanner. It is handy, but I get far more results with a manual search... That being said, I am the crazy man in the store talking to my phone. Yes I use the mic function to verbally input the product details into eBay. I find way more resuls and that becomes key when looking at the sell-through rate.... For me.
You're not wrong. You will definitely only find the results where the seller took the time to put the UPC in to the listing. I usually try the scanner first since it's quick. Then, if there are few results, I go the manual route. You can also find me talking to my phone instead of typing 😁
BROOOOO-you had me at Mapquest 👏👏
It's so good!😁
Great video! Thanks
Glad you liked it!
Great Stuff bro!
Appreciate it!
Nice video for beginners!
Thanks!
Thanks for the video Evan! Where can I find a Texaco cap like the one you are wearing?
www.angryminnowvintage.com - they have some really cool stuff. Thanks for watching
Thank you!
You bet!
You are one of the more helpful resellers out there, from my viewing experience. One thing I would also highly recommend to mention is double check the pricing of your comparables to see if they include shipping or not. That can make a huge difference on where you price your product, and not end up losing a bunch of money because other sellers may include shipping in their price. Other than that it was a great entry level tutorial.
100% agree with this and fantastic tip! Definitely something to pay attention to. Thank you!
Good info!
Thanks!
Very informative😊😊
Nice info Evan. But now, that notebook??? Is that a collectible? 😆
I guess. If you're in to strange things 😂😂
Great video as always! Question: What health insurance do you have? After leaving my job for full time thrifting, I lost mine and all my benefits. Thoughts? Suggestions anyone=?
My wife still has a full time job with excellent benefits including insurance so mine is through her. I would talk to an independent agent and they can actually shop around and see what's best for you. Congratulations on becoming a full time reseller!
Hi there! Wondering if you are selling the Clemson Tigers banner? thanks! :)
Sorry, no. Gotta hold on to that one.
What about returns
They happen but not very often. Typically if you take good pics and describe and item accurately there's not a problem.
Hey Bro, I really liked the quality of your youtube content btw Im Rohit a thumbnail designer let me know if your ever need assistance with your youtube thumbnails. i would love to work with you. Let me know if u wanna see my portfolio
Pay taxes???? Ya pay taxes. It's not worth it.
🤷♂️
Lol, it depends on what you're doing. If you're just selling a few things here and there you usually don't have to report any income since the assumption is that you're selling personal used items that you no longer want or need, and most likely at a loss. The legal requirement for reporting is currently $20,000 and 200 or more total sales, but they've tried to lower it to $600 for a while and the IRS said they wouldn't do it. I think they're setting on 5 or 10K, but it hasn't been put into law yet. Honestly adding 1099k forms and having to track every expense and receipt is the worst part of reselling, and why I got out of it. It's just way too tedious since you're constantly sourcing and selling so there's so many different things to keep track of.
Is this what u do for a living CZcams
