I once worked on a trunk Watermain from Thorold Ontario to Niagara Falls Ontario and had no idea after living there for 18 years that there was a giant 40 inch Trunk Watermain under the ground. The job I was working on was installing a 24 inch Watermain, which the whole time I thought was quite large until we tied into the bigger main. It was pretty cool. One of the first things I did after graduating high school.
Everyone should Know how the Airport works Know how the Sewer System works Know how Transit works Know how the Garbage/Recycling System works Know how City Hall works. oops sorry, that's already under the sewer system Know how the Electricity works That'll keep you busy for the next several years There will be a quiz tomorrow
I recommend the CZcams channel practical engineering that goes in great detail in many different videos for civil engineering, and city infrastructure. Bradey does a excellent job!!
City water shall have competitor, the repairing time is too long. They shall have a mature response system. Calgary water rate is high but the water system looks backward.
