Great video! MRIs are free here in Canada but often you have to wait a bit longer for an appointment. But often the hospitals have to fundraise to buy them then get approval from the local ministry of health to do scans on it.
Are there seriously MRI machines that could fit inside a backpack? If so, do they still need all the different coils and stuff. And like how good would the image quality be? I got so many questions!!!
The first MRI image was conducted at the State University of New York Downstate Medical Center in Brooklyn. The image was across the chest of the subject.

Shame I can't find any mention of magnetic phosphenes (or that is what I was told they were) - light flashes during an MRI. I had not been expecting them and was somewhat surprised. It would have been reassuring to know before my MRI that some people see them.

I've had several MRIs from a dissected aorta it's really amazing the look of the images
