I dont agree with the philosophy of keeping the physics simple for the sake of understanding how to service the machines. Biomedical Engineers arent technicians, we must be able to understand all the concepts that make the technology possible so as to be able to design them and guide the technicians when servicing. What are the physics concepts/ cause and effect that make imaging possible? Spatial detection? Contrast? How and why are the gradients produced? What are the electronic amplifiers and the software algorithms that make up the RF excitation and image the construction?
