    Well picked, again, Bill. I might get there one day! More nasty looking pins and threading but you still appear to ease through it with no problems. I would like to have a crack at a lock like that to see how it feels whilst picking it, or trying to in my case!

    Love seeing the guts of a challenge lock. Great picking.

    Great work Bill. You started with the right lock so things may get a bit harder from here.

    After deciding a couple months ago to get into lockpicking as a hobby (after watching your videos) I just went and bought a brand new Master no. 3. My first challenge to myself, open it with home made tools. So far I have made a bobby pin into a tension bar. Wish me luck.

      +Justin Updyke No luck with the Master yet but I also bought a Mountain Security padlock. I raked it open on my first try with a bobby pin and a paper clip. I really need to get a tripod so I can film this stuff.

    Could it be that those non-serations on the key pins are markings made by the threading when someone tried impressioning on that lock?

  • @propringle

    hey bill i am having trouble with a Yale anti pick as it is packed with serrated pins do you have any tips or a video explaining how to deal with them?

    No cute girl at the end? You've let us down, Bill!
    Where can I find your e-mail? I'm building up a Master #3 with a very special feature, something nobody has done before to my knowledge. I would like to get your thoughts on the design when it's finished!

      +David Scurlock-Richardson I was about to ask the same thing as I just got in to lock picking tonight and the two videos I posted look like crap.

      They look fine! Over the shoulder angle is cool. Might be better to use a tripod for a steady camera, but I think they're both good videos. Wish you the best of luck, enjoy the hobby!

    What type of core and where can i get one for an american lock 5100 series padlock

    • @jeffmoss26
      @jeffmoss26 Před 8 lety

      +Kev grat (iPh0n3Hackr) part number is APTC12 for 5 pin and APTC14 for 6 pin. Check out www.mrlock.com

    • @kevgrat7670
      @kevgrat7670 Před 8 lety

      +Jeff Moss would a higher security core like medeco or best fit in it? I would like a higher security core.

    • @jeffmoss26
      @jeffmoss26 Před 8 lety

      No, the 5100 series only takes an American cylinder. If you want to use a Best core that's the 3200 series, for Medeco KIK you would use 3700 series:

    • @kevgrat7670
      @kevgrat7670 Před 8 lety

      +Jeff Moss okay so those 2 cores that you mentioned fit in the lock? And do you know the best place that i could get them?

    • @jeffmoss26
      @jeffmoss26 Před 8 lety

      No, 3200 and 3700 are totally different locks. The only cylinder you can use in a 5100 series padlock is the cylinder it comes with.

      +Eson Zhao Let's see what we know about him-very skilled at covert entry,high knowledge of firearms,travels extensively,secretive,frequent unexplained absences-one of 2 things-contract killer or serial killer-still,as long as he keeps making videos-I'm OK with either.

      +David Worsley My guess is Defense Contractor or maybe another military position and his knowledge of covert entry and firearms who knows what he did when he was younger if he does work in the government.
