Been smashing this tonight (I'm Australian)
Qualified with a flat 2.6 (I'm pretty new to Sims only just upgraded to some decent gear and haven even made it out of D class)
In 5 races I managed 3 second places, a 3rd and a 5th. Which I thought was as far as I could physically take myself... Then I watched this video... Just watched this video and discovered early upshifts..
Won't that be easier than dancing the ass end around haha

There are many good lap guides out there but it’s like you add that extra bit of detail, that is very useful. I know every little extra detail adds to the editing time as well, but it is much appreciated!

Before this video came out. I was already comfortable using the Wrx with Qt 2:02.7 Now with this guide will definitely help me improve. 👌
As a Mid B Grader, those early up shifts to 3rd improve my Q time by about 2 secs in one session.
Even better, the improved stability gave me 6 races with zero spins.
Three wins and nothing worse than 5th.

I‘m using also the WRX for me easier than the Beetle. My main struggle is not to break too late so I’m mainly to quick in and too slow out of the corner.

6:24 I use the tip of the red and white markings into the pit as braking point that will get me just after the 100 board and is better to use if the 100 board gets smashed....

How are you adjusting for the qualifier in the dark and cold? Really struggling on 21/22 The Chase when its dark.
thanks Kie..i dropped my quali time from a 2:07.3 to a 2:04.1 .... the only thing is i can't get close to that time in the race lolol........edit..got down to 2:03.225 but i did not doi it in a lobby...was a bit bummed ..but at least i know i can get it done now
after the Ferrari chapter the game gets really fun. I've been slowing chipping away at this game and finally reached Gr 3 cars
I liked for not using a Beetle and actually using the car ive been using! Drives great up top of the mountain!
Yet another phenomenal track guide, thank you! How do you feel about Jag and Mustang at Bathurst this week? I haven't driven the Jag since update 1.13, but I do think Mustang was massively improved.
There are a fair few cars that will do ok on this combo in my view 👍

Im trying to avoid Meta this week. Unfortunately none of these braking points work with the GT500 Supra. I'm on controller and can only manage a 2:03.9. I'm sure with a rig that could be improved by a few seconds. Should give it a try If you feel like testing yourself abit. Good guide none the less👌!
Quicker if you were on Racing Soft tyres?
Yes obviously but in dailies you can only race on tyres that are allowed etc 👍
