One thing i love about the recruit models is how they demonstrate the main mechanics of their respective side in a way other ops dont, recruit A having the rappel hook and cord, and recruit D having a holstered nailgun for barricades

Know it's a little off topic but they also did something fun if people did multiple recruits during that special mode of Operation Chimera where they joke with each other about how when things go wrong it's always the recruit that gets sent in. That little bit has forever endeared them to me despite being a faceless unknown soldier type.
More on that, I like how the A recruit is more lightweight when it comes to equipment while the D recruit has a bulkier equipment set

On mobile defender recruit gets impact grenades and barbed wire, Attacker recruit has Grenades and Breach Charges.
Recruit being able to copy teammate’s gadgets is an interesting theory, the amount of sh*t you could potentially do would be exciting but i don’t think they’d want to implement something like that.

They should make recruit just swat units with skins being ct teams from all countries
That's what me and my friend thought too, but it's ubisoft
And for legendary or epic skins, they are legacy skins from old rainbow games with different music during their mvp highlight (like the theme from Vegas or something)
they wouldn't because that would require actual modelling and work
@@RoboticTrexRus even with ubisoft being lazy they could mostly reuse the existing teams (like fuze uniform slightly modified with a balaclava and standard helmet or thermite with sleeves unrolled and ski mask)

So here’s a really cool idea I saw from another CZcams video: the recruits follow the old CTU style where you can pick a CTU and get different loadouts. Well here, you could pick one of the new squads. It would make sense since Rainbow is broken into 4 squads, plus Nighthaven and even Keres. Each Recruit could get a different load out and gadget depending on the squad. The ideas he and I made were:
Redhammer - Attacker gets a mini thermite charge that’s a HBC and Exothermic hybrid and the defender gets a sort of throwable Kapkan trap.
Wolfguard - Attacker gets a shield that automatically pings gadgets when you’re about 3-5 meters infront of it and the defender gets some sort of healing gadget that heals for 20-30 health.
Ghosteyes - The attacker get some sort of stealth gadget like Nokk’s since she doesn’t get it anymore and the defender gets a listening chip that acts like a camera but instead of seeing things, it picks up noise output.
Viperstrike - Attacker gets some kind of special drone and the Defender gets some curtains to put on windows and doors.
Nighthaven - Some really tech heavy gear. One of or both can get some goggles that highlight enemies but not as much as Glaz does to make gunfights easier.
Keres - Something destructive and scary, like armor piercing rounds like in the comics and maybe some traps.
These Recruits are meant to have gadgets that aren’t better than their operator counterparts, but act as learning tools. Like the Viperstrike Recruits curtains are worse Castles but are supposed to be learning tools. Also, the skins should be tied to the squad like how some operators get a uniform from their squad.
For loadouts, maybe give them weapons from members of the squad, like a Redhammer attacker could get the 556XI, 6P41, and M590A1 while a Wolfguard defender could get the MP5, 9X19 VSN, and M1014.
My hope for recruit:
Og recuit as a Legendary free cosmetics.
Cosmetics for each country
Elite: Reserve from og rainbow six and maybe the one of the ps1 version with the avon s-10 gazmask
M870 shotgun and sheild
that would be too good for ubisoft, sadly it will never happen

They should add the old T-hunt skin as a recruit cosmetic too. that would be so awesome.

My only hope is that the recruit Elite is the same as the recruits we had from the outbreak pve event with a zombie fighting animation.
I saw a concept before where it worked, kinda like it used to, where you pick the CTUs, but instead its the squads (Nighthaven, Keres, Wolfguard, etc) and they all have different gadgets related to that squad
I hope they take the opportunity to add milsim cosmetics or ones that fit in the lore of the game
Considering in this very comment section somebody asked for a cross over stormtrooper skin and it has more likes then yours,yea were cooked
I feel like we're a minority that barely play the game seriously that wants milsim skins.

5:08 There is a bug causing mini lazer to be visable by enemy, so if there were a competent player by other side of barricade you would be wallbanged
But... most people are playing on their phones with 300 ping and 5 fps, not a good phone with a PS5 controller connected.

I love your idea for their gadget, that's a super cool concept
My guess as copying another operators gadget is too op is that "they will be the ultimate support character" their getting ammo boxes like the ones we had in T hunt. During the match the main things you have a limited supply of are Gadgets, utility and ammo so I am making a guess that the recruit will being in resupply for their teammates. Yes it won't resupply each operators gadget because not all operators work like that but it would refill their ammo and utility.
That or when they die they get to have a respawn
I think it would be cool if they had buffed versions of basicwquiptment that you could switch around. Like you could have a double wide shield and razorwire that deals small amounts of damage when walking through it. If they add other buffed versions that weren't too OP that you could chose 2 of at a time, that would keep them feeling like recruit while still allowing them to be more useful like a regular op.
would be nice to have them as a backup, if thermite dies, they can get his gadget and use, same goes for a few other operator like tatcher, maybe iq, something easy to pick-up and use.

I think the attack recruit will bring some kinda small lift thing like the ones outside of plane but when you have just enough room to stand up there.
I just desperately want more spots where Kali can actually snipe. Feels like when they made her that they forgot there's not a whole lot of spots for her to uses her scope effectively and impactfully, then kept forgetting to add spots in later maps for her and even glaz
If recruit is getting operator status, would that mean only one person could go Recruit at a time? Or is recruit rushing coming back to Ranked?
I really like recruit with 2 secondary gadgets. C4 + shield on defense and emp + hard breach on attack is really powerful, even without an actual ability. Also hope defense keeps the smg11.
I really hope that seige will actually have the rework recruit still have their jack of all trades card/wild card & the full team of recruits thing, cause: Recruits,Together,Strong.
They should make recruit ability to edit his stats so we could get a recruit with 3 speed or 125 heath or just even to get new players used to the different stats

Id love to be able to customize the recruit's "callsign" and icon even if the icon is from a pool of options

about it being possible for multiple people to play recruit at once they have to make that possible bc otherwise if there are multiple players on a team who don't have any operators other than recruit then what would happen?
I kinda want them to have the For Honor type customization for the recruit so you can choose whether you want them as male or female for both teams, i just like the idea of recruit being everyone's "unique" operator.

Recruit should be able to pick up items off dead operators: such as if thermite gets spawnpeeked you can pick the breach charge off thermite's dead body and use it once.

Honestly i think the two recruites will each have a different ability. One for attack and the other for defense. It would be hard to have 1 ability for both of them to use.
The real question is about loadouts is if they get acog

Honestly I bet it’s going to be simple.
They will be 2/2 and you can just pick any Primary, and any secondary you want. As far as gadgets you can pick any two of the secondary gadgets like before. So you could have EMPs and Can openers. Maybe on a shield op. Imagine a Deagle or Karatos behind a shield 😂😂😂

(Reason) We all know tachanka got rework because there wasn't a lot of good/decent spots in objectives & everywhere else but with these reworked maps maybe there's a chance for good plays
