Fenrir's codes for his mines will now get refunded if an activated one breaks. Slight miss on my part. I think Fenrir will still be decent after this and a viable pick (a tier)

A $10 subscription in a season with a very small amount of content... no new op, no op rework, no new guns, mnk on console isn't banned. Ubi wants to make money with this game but keeps underfunding it, expecting more cash.
It’s going massively under the radar that BLACKBEARD is added to the AI playlist for “new players to learn the game” but he will get a rework in Y9S4…. Come on bro? Who is saying OK to these decisions.

@@eKi48 don't get me wrong, I like blackbeard, his guns are fun to use but the guy desperately needs help. I'd rather have his shields actually protect him rather than slow down your ads for nothing. If he's working for you then do your thing, but from my experience those shields don't protect anything.

The "remastered" part is that you cannot use 5 recruits at once anymore
so what happens when a new player plays the game but they cant choose recruit cause someone else has it? they just dont get to play?
edit: they said “SOMETHING YOUVE NEVER SEEN BEFORE” just to give us a downgraded recruit. maybe thats when i should have started being suspicious the update wouldnt live up to the hype

i read that now after finishing the tutorial you get 5 ops

after opr health release = bugs fixed ( ~80%)
after opr 💩 = released new Audio Bug + Visual Bug ( in vulcan ) + Sens Control changed 💩
Lost a close game the other day to a team of 4 recruits and a ace and it was actually badass the ending screen with ace being top. Made me think about running stacks of recruits and one igl picks a real op that everyone else plays off of. Cant be doing cool things like that anymore
She also has 10 seconds to use it instead of 20, they KILLED her.

@@YoItsKernal I mean in comparison to fenrir the level they nerfed solis was incomparable. so I called the nerf horrible as in to far. Fenrir went from the best op in the game to still a very solid operator solos on the other hand has completely been removed she can no longer be played the way she was meant to be played. On top of this they were considering nerfing her more ?? That’s crazy to me why they put so much more effort into assuring solis was nerfed to the ground. When imo Fenrir is a prime example of what a nerf should look like.

Can we talk about how fenrir and solis were allowed to exist in the state they released in for over a year WITH NO NERFS, and now they just murder both ops and don’t buff or nerf any other ops in the game. Like thanks UBI for listening to the community and responding horribly late and way over reacting.
Edit: both ops are obviously still somewhat playable but it seems like total overkill after not touching them for over 16 months.

In turn making recruit stacking a viable strat

You have to choose recruit when that happens

Fast forward to when they remaster blackbeard by reverting him to launch. Also i really think they should "remaster" the lighting and give us the old dramatic lighting back as an option at least.
They nerfed Blackbeard by giving him 2 shields from 1 and making it 20hp instead of 800ph. I'm not sure what you mean by "reverting him to launch" as he launch with a near invincible shield.

Honestly the fact that solis needs her gadget fully charged to use it is just bad for game life, both nokk and warden have a recharge bar but don’t need it fully charged, for solis to have that is bad for experienced player who expect consistency, and new players who already have to learn 50 operators
Also no impacts for a primary roamer is crazy

Recruit rework massively disappointing.
Solis and Fenrir "reworks" were easily implementable within a week after they announced it, but took this long.
New monthly subscription model for extra rewards in a game that has the WORST BP, the WORST unlock process for OPs and the WORST Prices for the skins.
Only good thing about the season is the barbed wire change that it deals damage. Thats it

What I find weird is how long it takes for the defender ai playlist to be updated, they are always saying oh 2 new ops/maps/defenders and that’s it? The ai doesn’t care what op you are playing, it doesn’t know how to bandit trick, the only change to advanced mode is wether or not you are going to be one tapped buy the ai
This season is so underwhelming, the only good thing it’s that the marketplace is going public so most skins will go down in price
ubisoft had the balls to add less changes than i do fingers on one hand and call it a new season? brother this isnt even new this is operation deadly omen pt.2 the season that never ends

This just is exactly what everyone expected, doesn't really change the flow of the game like advertised. Attack recruit way stronger than defence recruit, other changes look cool but I think the recruit change is a miss. Plus new players wont get to play em because someone else will likely pick them

Tbh I didn’t think solice needed any balancing. I can understand the prep phase nerf but they literally drug her face across a concrete floor, curb stomped her, and spat in her face. There is no possible way they are going to get accurate data from the changes if they make so many at once.
There is an array of changes Ubisoft can make but honestly at this point I think they are intentionally trying to see how badly they can do things before there is a sense of push back.
The only original thing here is the defending recruit's commando 9 reload.
but on some real stuff, this season sucks, because they could've had SO many different ideas for recruit (like they can copy one gadget on their team but its weaker, or the 2 have the same gadget) but they went with something we had. Thye literally made recruit a 1-man squad, bc you can't even 5 stack recruit in Quick play now. tbh, if they js made it so og recruit was only in quick play and recruit 2.0 was in ranked, that would be ok, bc i js want old recruit back

what makes me the saddest is the more or less fixed weapon loadout for recruit. Back in the day, you could play ALOT weapons, making every weapon loadout a swiss army type of loadout aswell (he even had a fbi-shield!!!). also the fact, that only 1 player can play him per round makes me so sad aswell, The OGs of siege know what i mean... Its ok, but wasted potential. Recruit could have been the most fun operator, with the most versatile loadout (gadgets AND weapons)... im just... yeah... sad... :/
my thoughts exactly on the solis nerf. Wayyyy too much, same with fenrir. Couldve just kept his deactivated traps bulletproof and keep the rest of the changes and i think he's solid A tier and way less oppressive
Rlly? The solis nerf i can see where ur coming from, but imo the fenrir nerf seems fair to me. Fenrir p much had no holes in his loadout, was the most fustrating op to play against and barely had any hard counters at all. I think making the traps non bulletproof gives space for counterplay and getting rid of 1 code but making it rechargeable makes it so you have to think abt which traps u activate, while having a more annoying aspect of fenrir changed to be less annoying. Idk how to feel abt the barb wire tho.

I thought rework means you could choose how much armor you can carry and different armor had different loadouts and all of the weapons at recruits arsenal instead of any new gadgets.

Could’ve had it be the “select a group and get their guns” recruit and that would honestly be a good recruit, hell this is the way one of the older recruits and it was actually better than…this strange thing and also the “5 pick with set guns”

I love how a mid season patch gets classified as a new season... nothing changed besides lighting and basically reverting recruit back to what they used to be before the rework but with less guns

This is exactly what I expected the recruit change to be.
Got a new idea for recruit:
- Equip whatever you want however you want, emp with grenade? Sure! Grenade with another grenade? Yeah!
- All throwables have better projectile (further, faster)
- All non-throwable gadgets +1 use
so what happens in quickplay when 2 new players play in the same game and only have recruit
They could leave the game like that.... remove banning and cheater would be insane...
The only good things they did were nerfing Fenrir, maybe Solis, and giving Recruit the M4.
Need to make recruit have every gun the side their on has and in main menu u can select three to take into the match with u and u can have five at once

Imagine if Sentry/Striker could use ANY weapon on their side. This, along with a combination of any secondary utilities would be amazing. Basically a fully customizable operator. This would have made it worth it.

Just made both striker and sentry a recruit skin and bring back full customize loadout and Ubisoft made money while the playerbase is happy.
give recruite access to maybe not all, but a lot of the guns, like a huge amount of them, no ability, but able to pick any guns you want and maybe even pick armor too, let the recruiter be like a clean slate to pick a loadout you want.
I say they should've had a very simple gadget and that is just an ammo box. Its not much but its something.
It’d be cool if you could run any guns you want or if they’d random get any operator gadget, like any attack just you get a random setup

honestly i was hoping they’d be like an opposite of old recruit. like you get to copy 1 of your teams ops but get NO secondary gadget. so you could run like 2 aces but one is recruit with only selma’s (no claymores or soft breach). That would actually be huge on defense or offense. imagine 6 valk cams or 2 clashes. you’d have 2 monty’s vs 2 oryx’s.

Idk I feel like the recruits feel a lot more interesting now; picking exactly what you want is a huge buff. Being able to pick hard breach and EMPs is huge.

I never played with og recruit when you could change the weapon attachments and I’m really excited about it, I’m going to play beepers with C4, that will be so fun and the weapons will be a lot more fun than the old ones and the solis nerf was a bit too harsh for the impacts

This is why I didn't assume that Recruit would get a special ability or gadget and was just being realistic with how they'd be in game which I don't mind
Is he forgetting Recruit isn't already in Ranked and Standard not to mention how this is going to be a Solo hard breach, it's still game changing.
