I think that the Polestar 3 & Polestar 4 cars are very great looking cars. It's a shame that there are no Polestar dealerships in southwest Pennsylvania. The closest Polestar dealerships are approximately 2.5 hours or more away.

Not having phsical buttons is one thing to deal with, but no rear mirror? I have used rear view camera and it's not the same because your eyes need to adjust for the distance (from far to near and from near back to the far) every time, many times. I feel like designing a normal car is going to be competitive advantage moving forward.
I think the Polestar cars are amazing. The 3 coming out a year behind schedule really hurt them, but now they have three vs just one car on the market. My bet is they are going to be just fine financially.

Not a problem at all. I have had many station wagons and when fully loaded you do not see anything from rear view mirror. Now you have camera and can see very well.

Polestar has been on the downswing because for years becahse all they've sold is an electric sedan in an auto market where no one is looking for sedans...much less electric ones. I think the Polestar 3 and 4 will save the brand; they're not going to have the issues that the Ocean had because they've ironed out a lot of the bugs via the Polestar 2. Plus, Polestar is backed by Geely, which is a huge automaker in itself. Just like how Buick and Chrysler are doing terrible but have the financial support of GM, Polestar is the same boat. Unless the 3 and 4 sell absolutely terrible, I don't see a world where Polestar goes bankrupt.

@petero1068 Technology isn't the only thing that matters in a car...The Model Y is a rattlebox with a terrible suspension that feels like an EV Jeep Wrangler to sit in. The interior looks great and feels great but is made with cheap materials like when you walk into a new apartment but all the furniture is Ikea recycled wood. Tesla is a great buy at their current price because of their heavy price reductions, and is possibly the best value EV you can get today. And for the average person I'd happily recommend Tesla because most people can't tell the difference in ride quality between a Honda CR-V and a BMW X3. But if you're a car enthusiast or you're looking for a premium in ride quality, driving dynamics, road isolation, interior materials, etc; Tesla is not it, and you're looking for premium brands like Polestar or the Germans to meet your needs. It's like how 90% of people won't give a shit whether their seat insert is covered with Alcantara or suede because they both feel the same, even if Alcantara is significantly more expensive to produce. Well, Tesla is aiming for that 90% while Polestar is shooting for that 10% who do care. Value is subjective, and only time will tell how the 3 and 4 sell.
@@pkmnmaster760 their (Polstar) resale is not really that different than Tesla-so I’m not sure you’re correct. I drove the Polstar 2 and it was nice - really nice. That said, I also drove Tesla and couldn’t see much difference other than suspension- which you’re right (it rides hard). Don’t think $80k for a Polstar 3 is worth it especially seeing you’re not getting the tax incentive. Not to mention the Polstar has a buggy dash control and it was laggy…at least the Polstar 2 did.

Full glass roof is good in the winter but it sure burn hot in the summer.
There’s an option to have an electric opaque-tinting glass roof that will help out

Is the PS4 made in China like the PS3? No issues because the majority of Teslas are also made in China.
The polestar 3 will also be built in the US, and the Polestar 4 will have manufacturing in S. Korea starting in 2025.
