A meaty heirloom beefsteak that's been grown for over a century. New to the Baker Creek catalog in 2022. Productive and delicious variety. seeds from @RareSeedsBC Baker Creek Heirloom Seeds
@inchwormgardens thank you for your content and reply. I'm still plugging along, trying to narrow down which tomatoes I will be planting this year. So far, my goal is to replant my forgotten varieties that have been stored, some dated back to 2007. We'll see how that goes. In the meantime, best of luck to you this season.
Thx for the vid! My watermelon beefsteak plants have potato leaves? (not regular type leaves) Strange. The seeds were from BCreek also. Good to know they taste good! Thx!
That second 🍅 looked perfectly red and juicy. Must’ve been a real treat to eat. On a completely unrelated note… I was zoning out on all the soothing ambient sounds in the background. The cooing chickens. The chirping birds. And then that saw came along. What a buzzkill! 😆
haha! I know what you mean. Total buzz(saw) kill. I love all the noises in the garden. The cicadas have been chirping too! That is the true sound of summer for me.
@@inchwormgardens that’s so nice of your friend. Give Wesley and your daughter a hug, and Jax a pat on the head for me and hope your wife and family are doing well.
Haha, it does look like that! We built a chicken tunnel from the coop so they can walk around and still be protected. I put up that little chicken "tower" so they could come up and say hi when I'm in the garden. Been working pretty well!
So glad you came back to show the larger one. Just added it to my shopping cart 👍🏻
Thank you! That was bothering me, haha. Glad I had time to edit it. Enjoy the tomatoes!
Thank you for the review of the watermelon beef steak.I'm sorting through my seed collection. And I just may get around to planting this one today
You're welcome! Thanks for watching. Best of luck to you in the garden this year!

@@user-ds1vq3mi2r that’s a great idea. I have some seeds I’ve purchased and never planted!
GOSHHH DAMN 😅

I'm growing this variety for the first time this year and I have several green ones. I can't wait for them to ripen. Thanks for the review!
Awesome!! Waiting for tomatoes to ripen can take about 1 million years 😂
@@inchwormgardens haha! Indeed.

I like your sign. I hate tomatoes!! Hahaha!! The larger tomato was huge, and prettier than the smaller tomato. Thanks for the video
Hey! Thanks so much! A friend of mine got that sign made for me :) Hope all is well with you!

I have some seed so I'll start germinating. I didn't hear you say how long to plant maturity?
Awesome! This variety is 75 days to maturity.
Heh. Is the chicken in the tomato cage jail? 😜
