      I don't know how great it is. The damage to muscles takes so long to heal it generally harms mobility as a whole, but it is less painful. It is a trade-off. 😅

    My dad got in an accident years ago and never bothered to check on his hip. He slowly developed a limp that got worse with time, and it was causd by a pain in his hip that had unbeknownst to him, gotten damaged. I’m almost 20 and my whole life I’ve never seen him walk straight. The cartilage around his hip has been eaten away by his limping and the injury.
    He’s finally getting his hip replacement this year, and I’m so happy for him. I’ll show him this video too. This actually makes the whole procedure look really straightforward. Thanks Zack!

      Hi, people like you are needed for research purposes. It’s rather rare to have a patient who has replaced hip joint at this age, so your case can help with better understanding of how it’s acting afer all these years. So if it’s okay with you make sure to hit doctors and let them examine your prosthetic. Also consenting to post mortem research will be extremely helpful. Hope you’ll do great!

      @JaysonVanMeeteren When I was diagnosed, they had said that I would need a replacement in my 40's. Due to my own circumstances, it was expedited as my hip would pop out of its socket every time I would walk. Its tough because I've played lacrosse my whole life, but I've seen people ski and snowboard quite frequently after getting hips replaced (not exactly advised but hey ya gotta do what you love right?). I'd definitely talk to your doctor about your options. The hip isnt as impacted as your knees are so thats a bonus, but there's always options :)

    • @CanucktotheCore
      @CanucktotheCore Pƙed 16 dny

      @illusion5739 generally the risk is low when going in for an MRI. Of course theres always an inherent risk, but its like 99% safe. Havent had an MRI in years. Whenever i go to get my prosthesis checked out its just a regular X-ray

    Important thing to note: there are so many different metals and materials out there, make sure its hypoallergenic, strong, and has sbsolutely no possibility kf degenerating in your body. Aka, titanium. It may seem ridiculious to have to use titanium metal considering how expensive it can be, but the alternative is realizing youre being poisoned by heavy metals from your hip.

    Total hip replacement is a surgical procedure to replace a damaged hip joint with a new one. During the surgery, a doctor removes the damaged bone and cartilage and replaces it with artificial materials. This can help reduce pain and improve mobility for people with severe hip arthritis or injuries. After the surgery, physical therapy is usually recommended to help regain strength and movement in the hip joint. It's important to follow the doctor's instructions for a successful recovery after a total hip replacement.
