Purposeful bad acting is the best type of comedy tbh
so true
either that or incredibly lazy
mark janson it’s not bad acting. It’s a parody of 90 television dumbfucks
@@nbalivemobileplug6115 No it's not, he intentionally does bad acting in every single skit. Maybe change your character once outta 20 times.
FBeckenbauer4 based on characters he does bad acting dumbfuck bitch shit head
These Beck and Kyle sitcom parodies are like fever dreams
That house set up was spot on too! Always that staircase on the left. 😂
The best and funnies fever dream I’ve ever had
And I loved every minute of it
Lol - good description!
Took the words right out of my mouth
I love how the cops squeezed through door at the same time.
Then everyone in the background stood stock still during the last scene
loool
The best part was how you could hear their jackets brush against the set over the sounds of the party and dance music.
I enjoyed the "talk in private" two steps away and crowd follows
call back to family matters where Carl handcuffed himself to the other cop.
👮: "Your friend Aaron is dead."
👮♂️: "Yeah, he was drunk driving."
Everyone: "Aw." 😐
That emphasis on the "DRI-ving" rofl
everyone leaves immediately
Love how after the first transition the stain in Beck's shirt is larger😂
It just keep growing larger (small - medium - large - huge).
it gets worse between cuts
I love how he pushes him to make it spill then dougie says did I mess up again.
Sitcoms are famous for continuity issues.
It's the new fall look.
Everything about these sketches kill me. The bad acting is spot on. The patchy story lines are the perfect amount of ridiculous. There was an Irish Castle as a transition shot 🤣🤣🤣
The drifting car is what got me.
The Alpaca @3:15 got me
No way that's Ireland. Looks more like Italy or Switzerland.
@@quintiniusverginix7827 It could be scottland
@@jakejacoby214 way too sunny to be Scotland
"Your friend Aaron is dead"
"He was drunk driVING"
That caught me off guard 🤣

«Can I talk to u in private: "u r cool now" the talk is over»
This skit perfectly captures the awkwardness of the background extras in 90's sitcoms
YES!! I wish I knew what the director said to the extras all waiting in a clump by the door at 3:59. It's like if you asked AI to create a sitcom from the early 90's, but better cause it's real!
And still today
This is so 90's it makes my eyes bleed. All my childhood everyone was like, "Wow, 70's fashions were the ugliest possible!" And then the 90's came along and said, "Hold my Zima..."
The transition videos have nothing to do with the actual plot lmaoo 😂😂
Lei yea like the horse drawn carriage lmao
I almost overlooked the jeep in the 🏜
just like real sitcoms!
What are you talking about ...
The Llamas were a perfect plot development for the next scene 😂😂😂
Those were the best, especially the Llama and the last one 😂
"He was drunk DRIving..." Best delivery.
"Just like we keep warning you kids about"
I've watched this skit a million times and just realized Ryan Gosling was ripping the pages of the book at the start 😂. These sitcom skits are the best
The sad thing is, this was an actual plotline on Family Matters.
Sad or amazing ?
Yes that went on for multiple seasons I believe
@@drtij_dzienz yep it was Stephen and "Stefan". I was a little kid so i loved it, but it was every bit as cheesy as this video shows it to be.
The idea to play multiple roles started early in the show with the Myrtle Urkel character.
obviously they copied it.
I would literally watch a half hour episode of this every week.
Its just the white people version of "family matters"
Check out Decker unclassified very much the same vibe
+Kimmy Sunshine Exactly
He didn’t time travel. He infused himself with a chemical compound that made him cool.
Dan Schmidt 7
the way the milkshake stain progressively got more in every shot 😭😭😭
Everything in this is so good. Bobby's deliberately terrible reading of "He was drunk driving," the line dance, the way Beck says "Oh yeah, because you only care about being COOL." And Beck is at peak hotness here.
I miss the old Dougié, straight from the go Dougié
Chop up the soul Dougié, set on his goals Dougié

I sang this in my head
Your friend Aaron is dead. He was drunk driving.
*super short aw*
Paul Wilkinson That’s the part that really got me 😂
lol
@@cherahsBroll His delivery of "He was drunk driving" is the best 😂. That & them both fitting thru the door to say it.
Then the entire party leaves in a single-file, orderly fashion.
Best line of the sketch, and how they both just stand there like stage props afterwards.
The fact that everyone including the police paused at the door at the end😂😂

Matic Bukovac wat?
The others skit like this - Beers - has a transition shot of a dinosaur lol
if you go to kyles old ass youtube channel, his awkward interviews have transitions that were completely random...guess this was his idea lol
I love how he walks through the door and before the scene cuts you see him go back and try to close it.
The tone in which the cop says "he was drunk driving" like a disappointed matter of fact I told you so kind of way. This sketch is highly underrated.
I love how much worse the milkshake stain gets in the scene after the spill
1:26 Beck still being in the swinging doorway after he leaves kills me every time. Hahahahaha.
Same haha
I died!
Kyle and Beck are two of the best, and most underrated, cast members that SNL has ever had.
Fun Fact: They are both very gay. (Not that there is anything wrong with that.)
*What?* hell to the no Happy Madison had some dope years, then you got the Eddie Murphy years, Will Ferrell and the Roxberry years, just no dude.
@@Igaveyoumyfakename someone should tell Beck's wife
@@supamayn17 don't u mean becks husband
The last fry is my favorite sketch they did
"You're very cool now."
"Thanks."
"The talk is over."
🤣🤣🤣
For those of you who not born in the 1980s, this is a direct parody of "Dr. Urkel and Mr. Cool", the 1993 5th-season episode of Family Matters that introduces the recurring character of Stefan Urquelle, Steve Urkel's cool alter ego.
"Can I talk to you in private?"
"Yeah sure"
**whole room follows them**
Hahaha
Original comment next time, we all saw the video
kyle and beck would kill if they had their own show on another network
This is an amazing idea
they kind of did before
They were about to, with Will Ferrell as producer, when they were hired for SNL. And the third guy in their trio got dropped, I feel so bad for him!
Nick writes for SNL ive heard at least
They almost had one. On Comedy Central. Long story, but basically they chose SNL, and one of the members of their sketch group, the only one that failed the audition for SNL, Nick, got fucked. Cuz he lost the Comedy Central gig and SNL.
That Hummer driving through the sand dunes cut slayed me 🤣🤣🤣
The skit had me right at the beginning with that saxophone intro…
UPDATE-and then those generic cut scenes, priceless.
I've had a lot to drink. I'll drive my car and get us more. Okay/great.

I thought Duggy would've felt bad for not being the responsible nerd and stopping him.
@@priscillajimenez27 all of kyles skits are based on the characters not learning lessons. Like the one with the cart how the aunt helps him and explains that girls can do things and the lady line he said is boys rule😂
The establishing shot is a ruined castle.
Why did you choose these words
Whoops, did I mess up again?
@@timrulz54 cause he'd sound like an idiot if he said "that shot that tells you where the scene is taking place was a broken king house"

I am pretty sure we saw the castle.
Can someone make a gif of Bobby and jay squeezing through the door, it’s cracks me up so much
I couldn't stop laughing. Its so 90's, dry and Ryan's facial expressions 👏👏👏
The llama transition from one scene to literally the exact same scene 😂 These two are amazing together.
0:02 Ryan randomly tearing pages in book on empty coffee table
0:19 Bills that were in Beck's hand 1 sec ago suddenly on coffee table
0:39 Ryan's book suddenly disappears from coffee table
1:50 Clipboard in Kyle's hand as he enters cool machine
2:09 Kyle exits cool machine without clipboard. Clipboard suddenly on coffee table.
SO MUCH WORK went into making this sketch terrible. Emmy Award please!
Missed standing in the doorway awkwardly at 1:27
@@Yimello I cracked the fuck up when I saw Beck just stand there.
That table is a portal
I’d add Beck running into Kyle as they both approach the Cool machine.
Diogenes TheDog ya they look frozen in place.
Love the random cut scenes of the English countryside (leaving us to assume the action is all happening somewhere in the British Isles?) 😂
I’m 99% sure the “cool machine” is just a portapotty painted silver.
Why the downvotes? This was some of the most hilariously dry parodying SNL has done. The milkshake stain that spreads to 30 times the surface area in the next scene, Skylar stopping the swinging door, the out-of-time-period transition, Skylar not understading what "chemical compound" means, the fact that Dougie doesn't act much differently after he gets a new outfit, the terrible and unsubtle writing, the really contrived emotional scene, the startlingly abrupt ending, etc. It's perfect.
"I've had a lot to drink. I'll drive my car out to get some more"
"Ok"
All the downvotes are from people who weren't kids in the 90s. If you don't know about TGIF, you won't get it.
Cheree Ree what is TGIF?
@@edienandy it stood for Thank Goodness It's Friday. And on Friday there was a lineup of shows like Family Matters, Full House, and others that would come on.
Us kids loved it!
This emotionless acting doesn't seem like purposeful bad acting to me. It seems just bad, especially Dougie
@Bigg Papa That's....that's the joke... is that it's low budget....smh
"You're vey cool now
Thank you
The talk is over"
Lol
So grateful that Kyle's "Cut for time" sketches got a second life on CZcams. They were all pre-recorded, so that may have been the plan all along.
The B roll shots between scenes are hilarious.
Why didn't this show get picked up for a second season? It ended on such a cliffhanger back in 1992
What are you talkin about what show are you talkin about are you talking about family matters that went on for like 10 seasons? I think you did get picked up.I think that jaleel White didn't want to play Steve urkel anymore. And I think there was a death in the cast. Unless you're talking about an entirely different show.
@@catsdogsbaby8318 I think they're being funny
Lols It's clearly a joke bro
The House of Phancycondo The reason it didn’t get picked up is that Ryan Gosling had graduated into doing movies, and he had decided to leave. That’s why his character was killed off in this episode. Also, the comedy world started to turn away from this type of “lesson comedy” to more “biting comedy,” as Seinfeld, Frazier and Friends started to dominate the ratings. I loved this show, though, and still think about it. Thanks to whoever uploaded this old clip. What a blast from the past. You may not believe this, but I totally forgot about Do-Gay.
@Gecko Kosai you can't do math
It's a running joke that all Kyle's sketches get 'cut for time'. That's still going on in 2018. It's probably Kyle's idea.
I think they are more fit for CZcams than a live audience, so maybe that's why
I have a theory that it's intentional so that they all go to CZcams, where both Kyle and Beck first started uploading their sketches, because it's the best place adapted for their work
@@9Kualalumpur Both Kyle and Beck started off uploading on CZcams. I bet these are cut for time because it ultimately goes to their best environment
More like his target audience is the size of a postage stamp.
@@stonewolf1980 Yeah, a postage stamp the size of YO MAMA!
“I don’t even wanna know what this thing is!

the way bobby moynihan stares at the ceiling at 3:50 kills me
It's the subtle things that make the sketch so good. Like the way he bumps into him walking past to pull the lever or the way Ryan gosling hesitates before opening the door.
Elgin Coates and beck still being behind the door at 1:28
Don't forget the clothes magically changing when he becomes Duegay...
He chocolate stain is so huge the second time you see it haha

And he went back to close the door after leaving the scene lol
The coolest thing is that Beck is wearing a 1990 pair of military blue Jordan 4s.

This was perfect. All sketches with Beck and Kyle are hilarious.
I know. I hate how they're always what gets cut for time.
+faboze Hope you watch the Tim and Eric Awesome Show, Great Job!. I think the SNL audience doesn't, which is why this didn't get included.
Lookup goodneighborstuff on CZcams it's there old channel, everything's Halarious
I love how uncreative Dougy’s catchphrase is
“Whoops, did I mess up again?”
This is such advanced comedy that I think it’s above most of SNL’s fan base. I laughed out loud at this. I love Kyle and Beck’s super dry humor. It’s too bad their sketches get cut all the time.
I love at the end of how all of the guests are leaving and then they just stop right in the doorway 🤣🤣
Kyle Mooney is one of the funniest, most underrated cast members. It sucks that most of the sketches he's in are usually the Cut For Times.
He does the same cringe, awkward character in every sketch. It gets old quickly.
You can figure out the pattern?
Maddie Hansen he is the worst one ever, hands down dummy
FranchiseLove ya he has one role thats it...
He needs a famous girlfriend.
I didn't even notice how everyone froze at 4:00
I want a whole TV series like this!
This was basically the plot to the show Family Matters for a time.

+Spinalpalm that's pretty sad...
I agree! This was funny!
Jossi Wales please dont cry just for me..
+Spinalpalm what's so interesting about these videos is how polarizing they are. people either really love them or really hate them. which i don't get because i think these guys are geniuses. Satire for days.

The way that ended 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
"there is no steve here, i'm stefan, sweet thing. stefan urquelle."
The best thing about sitcoms of that era was how everyone else would just widely accept what had taken place. There was no sarcasm in their universe. Nobody thinks Steve is just fucking with them. They have no doubt whatsoever that he is now Stefan Urquelle. Because he is.

MattyFizzle04 There's been quite a few rebuilding years that had WAY worse cast members.
+Vladomin Because no one remembers Steve Urkel. It was funny seeing SNL's version.
Samantha Monaco People DO remember Urkel. I'd be surprised if anyone that was not in the cast can remember more than one or two others from Family Maters. (And "the cop from Die Hard" doesn't count)

they need their own show, for sure.
It doesn't explain the joke, they are lost in THE DARKNESS
Nah it's good that stuff like this is pushing it's way into mainstream TV. Standard network comedy is fucking awful.
One of my favorite skits of all time. The best and weirdest ones always get cut.
They somehow captures 90’s sitcom mood shifts at the end, even the silence has a weird burring noise to it;
"Your friend Aaron is dead."

Kyle's weird turn so he didn't turn away from the "live studio audience" while he was walking back to the table for that dance killed me. That's some brilliant subtlety.
This is the only time I’ve laughed at someone saying “he was drunk driving”
Used to think ‘why are these two idiots on SNL?’ Then I realized Kyle and Beck are totally funny & super talented. My bad! 👏
121 dislikes means 121 people didn't watch 90's sitcoms.
Or it wasn't funny
Or they did, but this parody didn't embody them enough, if at all.
Totally grew up watching them. These just get old really fast. This set is a nod to the Full House living room, the set with Chris Pratt's episode is a nod to Joey and Chandler's apt in Friends. I'd rather watch those than these parodies.
SNL just sucks, and these guys should go back to making CZcams comedy which was ALOT better than this ripe vomit. Just look up 'keyboard' by GoofNeighborStuff. It's the same guys.
this is a cut for time sketch so it wasn't good enough to begin with. And while it did get the point across, it wasn't funny at all for what it was implying. It got old really fast.
