We are back on the 1955 Chevy Belair in tonights video. We need to make some new rear brake lines and I have to say I bought 2 of the greatest brake line tools available. The double flaring tool I purchased is the best thing ever invented. It works amazing to make the double flares I need on the 55 rear end. I also bought a tubing or brake line straightener. It also works great. With these new tools and the rear end easily accessible we got all the rear brake lines made. I also put the c6 corvette rear brakes on with the Kore3 brackets. I even pulled out one of the wheels to see how everything was going to fit. I also bolted the air bags on from ridetech. I probably spent a few hours moving the suspension up and down. This thing is going to be so cool once we are finished.

This is all so cool! Can’t imagine doing all this with the body on the frame, so glad you’re doing it this, this way so you can make everything so much nicer and neater! As usual great video

What are the specs on the rear-end housing. Overall width, which tube ends did you use and who supplied it. Working on a 56 belair. Your videos really help out

Rear-end setup looks great especially the wheels. Those calipers look like they're angled to the outside, hope its the camera angle and not the rear-end axle flanges. Nothing like a custom frame up build, I'm a little envious 😉. I could watch the step by step video including the none family friendly parts!!✌🏻

I ordered a pre-bent set of hard brake lines for my 97 Z28 from Inline Tube. Nice products, however the ABS module is on drivers side and the line to the front passenger side was close but to short, but yet long enough to make it work without looking like Bubba did it. The long line to the rear is actually close to right on the money. Of course I’m still in the process so and we shall see how the lines for rear go.
Love that flaring tool!!! We used those other flaring tools for so long because that’s really all that we had 🤷‍♂️. If I ever run into having to flare a lot of tubing I am gonna obtain one of those high speed flaring tools!
And for the record those wheels are gonna look outstanding!

I was kind of worried about you placing the brake lines on TOP of the axle tubes. I thought maybe the frame would lay on the axle tubes when air’d out to get you as low as possible.

I like that flare tool. Gonna get one for my future project. Can you list a link to your dog bone looking rolling seat? Looks cool! I saw the creeper on the Christmas video from whatever year that was I think. Love watching stuff like this and you explain it well for people that are trying to learn!
