I live in the bible belt and reverted two years ago and it's crazy how he couldn't confidently say who wrote the bible in an instant. You're teaching a book you don't know who it's written by??!! ONCE THE MOSAIC LAW WAS GIVEN, IT HAD TO BE FULFILLED. That's why Jesus had to fulfill it and break the curse of the law off of believers. God had said heaven and earth would pass away but my law would never pass away. It had to be fulfilled.
ok to answer your question about why the need for a sacrifice...the Bible says the soul that sins will surely die and the wages of sin is death. The penalty for sin is always death. Sin is the rejection of God and thereby rejecting Life. The only just outcome for sin can be death because it is the forfeiting of life. Physically and spiritually. It's a harsh penalty, but a just and unavoidable penalty. The only way to receive forgiveness, which is available, is a life has to be paid for the sins. In the law of Moses, a law that was flawed because it only pointed out mans sins, an animal was sacrificed. Was that fair? No. The animal was a lesser than creation than man that was made in God's image and the animal wasn't the one that had sinned. God himself took no delight in the sacrifice of animals for man so He had to fulfill His own law on mans behalf even though man wasn't really aware of God's plan and sadly, didn't even really want it in many cases. That's why Jesus came forth to pay the price for you and me. Jesus was a greater being than the man that had sinned and he gave His life so you and I are no longer accountable for paying the price for the penalty of God's own written law. Was it fair that Jesus had to die for us. ABSOLUTELY NOT. Just like the animal in the old covenant that was actually not the sinner, but the sacrifice only, Jesus was not the sinner, but the sacrifice only. God fulfilled his OWN law for us. The requirement of death for sin ( justice) and the pardon for sin ( grace and forgiveness) have now been met and we receive the eternal Life of God through being filled with the Holy Spirit. I thank God for His mercy and what he's done for me. Hopefully I was able to help my muslim friends on here and hopefully you can show your friends this answer to help them understand why Christians believe what they do. God bless you

You have been duped ; the New Testament is telling us that Jesus died on the cross, you have all the details of his crucifixion and why he was crucified and by who. Jesus came to save us from our sins are requested us to follow his words to go to heaven ; loving each other and loving our ennemies. If Jesus is only a prophete, why his words are not in the Quran ? Why The Quran denies Jesus on the cross in surah 4 157 ? The NT is telling us, that if you deny Jesus (on the cross), you will go straight to hell, this is in Matthew 10 33 by the way, this is why Allah denies Jesus cause Allah is Satan and he wants you to hell.

I know of a person who that became a Christian, and when he converted and became born again. Immediately after his conversion he earnestly prayed for the salvation of his muslim family, he himself was not a muslim prior to his conversion but his mom got married to a muslim man and she converted to islam and she got two kids out of that marriage. He lived with them. He told me that he prayed for about six months and fasted two days every week for their salvation. He said that one evening when he entered into his home and went to his room, as soon as he entered his room he was thrown violently onto his bed by a spirit, he told me that he wanted to scream for help but he could not open his mouth and the ability to make sound was stopped by that spirit, he also told me that he wanted to get up but could not and that demon pinned him down on his bed with great force and as he was struggling in his room with the demon he said that the demon spoke to him and warned him saying, "Leave my people alone!". He was terrified and beyond scared when the demon of islam manifested to him in a threatening manner. I have my shared experiences with demonic attacks, more than ten years experiencing those kinds of attacks but never heard them speaking, I always rebuked them in the name of Jesus and the blood of Jesus and immediately they leave. Jesus is Lord, he is the only way to heaven. There is only salvation in the name of Jesus.
The honesty of the first couples answers and responses is refreshing. May Allah guide them to Islam. And their son who pop wasn’t so sure about.

Let's go back to genesis chapter one again for a reference...verse 26 says "let Us make Man in Our image and let Man have dominion"...who has true dominion over earth? Man or God? If God says let man have dominion? Well, man has dominion then, doesn't He? So, who is this Man that can fulfill the duty of the invisible God and the visible Man? Only the Word that became flesh and dwelt among us, Jesus Christ. You have to remember, Jesus said the entire Torah spoke of Him in John chapter 5 verses 39-44. Jesus is always the fulfillment in one way or another in every reference to God due to the fact there is one God. Three different facets represented in unison but expressed differently at times. I went to a Catholic school, I didn’t really take my faith seriously growing up and for better or worse my parents didn’t force or push me in a direction but alhamdullilah by my early 20’s I knew what was the truth

In my opinion the bible belt is the best place to do daawa. Because there is alot of honest humanity captured by the pastors into a doctrine that they don't seem fully believe to make sense. They only comform as its the local relegion and there is no other option that they were not demonised on.
