The third verse is only for live performances. No idea why, but that's the way Garth prefers his songs with a third verse, to be only for live. But agreed, would've been perfect for their recorded cover.
I wish they would do the rock version with the 3rd verse. They did good and the crowd was great. But we have heard the acoustic sounding versions before. I like the song and The guys with the skulls have the best rock cover imo. I like ATR version even the back up singing, but id like it more if they included the third verse. Anyhow great vid, thanks for putting it up.
Lol. What a terrible cover. Two guitar players couldn't even get half of what Pat Alger (the primary writer on this song) can do with one, and he isn't a virtuoso by any means. Should have work-shopped this one a bit before putting it in a set boys.
