Back when I was able to play Men of War:AS2 after I call in any of the vehicles as reinforcements, I would always have an entire squad armed with the 50cals from the vehicles, idk why but it's always funny to see a entire squad or platoon of infantry with 50cals being used as my main attack force.
Literally I miss playing these games and I wish that my PC wasn't shit because it's always getting hacked which is basically the only thing it can be used for either getting hacked or getting locked out after I try to get on Steam.
What I'm saying is that I would give anything away just to play these games again (by anything I mean something of value for example a PS2 with a plastic tub and a large plastic bag full of games).
You should do some more Viet cong perspective battles. Great battle btw
Those 50s should be able to fire across half the map depending on terrain.

U.S Marine sniper Carlos Hatchcock used a M2 .50 cal machine gun AS A SNIPER RIFLE and got a confirmed kill at 2,500yds!
If I'm not mistaken, the .50 cal is one of, if not the oldest gun thats still in active military use. There's probably older ones, but its definitely up there

Actually, in the early days of the war, quite a lot of Vietcong soldiers had ak47s while the US army used the m14 which was mainly semi-automatic due to the fact it was uncontrollable in automatic mode, the ak47 proved superior to the m14 in the dense greens of the jungle and throughout the war was a really reliable weapon so maybe more soldiers should have used the ak more. Great video btw loved it

Those are browning m2a1 50cals probably the longest serving weapon in the army they have a range of a bout 4 1/4 miles

Marines are not soldiers! Also the “loaders” are on the wrong side of old ma duece. Next, the 50 doesn’t have a magazine. There is 9 yards of ammo per box/crate. Also, those rounds from the 50 will pass through a person with ease. It will not stop at that person. Aside from my whining not a bad watch

For the Record A U.S. Senator talked General Westmoreland who was more or less bragging about the 12 to 1 enemies kill ratio and the Senator fired back at him I don't care about 12 I care about the one we lost. Body count hardly ever wins in a real war.
That and our military had no real defined objective so it was hard to really measure success, this was the USAs first war that wasn’t traditional fighting so they had no idea how to gauge a real victory, don’t get me wrong we won almost all of the battles but it doesn’t count for much when there’s no front
