- My first ever foray into battery gear finally came! A flowzone battery sprayer knpasack arrived a few weeks ago for me to take a look at. Having used manual pump knapsacks for 20+ years, I was a bit “on the fence” when it came to “battery stuff”. Anyway, the more time went on, the more things I found that I liked. This became a common theme the more I used it. I enjoyed I more and more. Now it's not perfect, and definitely has one or two small flaws I'd like to see improved but overall I found several things that wowed me!
Comfort was better than other knapsacks. The padded shoulder straps really do take the weight off
The battery lasts a very long time! Approximately 50 to 100 lawns, so if you only have one lawn you may be able to make one charge last for many many weeks and months
It weighed less so not as much weight to lug around.
It has Brass fittings for improved durability
It has quick-release fittings on the handle, lance and nozzle end
It has pre-set pressure settings so you can instantly dial in
No need to pump! Just pull the trigger and spray
It is undoubtedly multifunctional and not just for lawn care. I imagine you could use it for watering flowerbeds, hanging baskets and even your lawn in a drought if you collect and store grey water or rainwater. You can probably also find a number of other uses such as washing your car or windows.

I recently purchased a Worx Sprayer which works with any Worx battery (already have a couple from other tools) and I am very happy with it. It only has a 5L tank (in the US they sell it with 10L) so probably no good for professional use, but very useful for home/DIY users.
Hi Solomon it sounds really good. Many homes with typical lawn sizes would be just fine with it. It really opened my eyes to battery tools..I'm sure I will face more and more battery gear over the next few years too. Thanks for the kind words..it was a long video

Own flowzone & now they came out with spray mate good things all parts are interchangeable for the sprayers also they can be repaired by yourself by easily going to website & purchasing replacement parts the BOMB👍 you made a sound choice Shaun

Good review Shaun ,the more you get used to using it the more you might like it ,on hot summer days being lighter will be better ,the spare battery would be handy
I realize this is an older video, but your review helped me decide on a new sprayer. I spent all day looking for a battery backpack sprayer from German sources and didn't find anything suitable. I'm getting older, and the pumping is starting to wear me down, so I wanted to treat myself to an electric sprayer. I ordered the Flowzone Typhoon 3.0 and accessed Garden Imports through your link. I hope it worked for you because the link to the Cyclone 2.5 no longer works.

Great review thanks Shaun. Just one thing, noticed you used your old nozzle for iron, not one of the supplied ones. Would I need one of these and if so where would I get it please.

I looked at the stihl one at saltex. Very expensive but seems like a good tool. Think my CP15 will do for me for now.

BTW, is it still OK to spray seaweed fertiliser in November, in in N Ireland no frosts yet?

impressive but out of my League mate, but it’s perfect for you in your profession as your using it’s a lot , and save your arm from straining so you can drink your beer in the evenings 😂 . All aside great bit of kit and tutorial on Assembly of the sprayer thank you Shaun 👍it would not Hurt to use a pair of old tights with the filter just a thought 🤔
Ive plenty of old tights in my bottom drawer ;-) ha ha.. Yeah I appreciate its pricey

Hi yes I really do like it. Misplaced my charger cable so havent used it for a couple of months.
