12 hour drive for the Flush, 40 hour drive for me from Florida and it's worth it every season. Great show

That three legged dog is better suited for Montana's wild birds than any wide ranging pointer ever would be. I've seen guys go out there with big running dogs and never even get close to 99% of the birds.

Might need to try eastern Montana. I mostly hunt SD and ND for pheasants. What breed is the setter, looked like Custis’’ dog?. English? I have a Llewelyn and love her!
To be accurate, it's not public land. It's private land that the landowners make accessible to the public.

Where are there birds in Fall 2022. I have hunted in mid to western MT. NO birds around there this year.
Sydney. All birds in good numbers. Huns, ringnecks whatever you want.
