Nice work Jen! Love the 3D - 2 color drop shadow. I’m very happy to see this art form is not lost. 30 years a sign painter and still working with 1-shot and Mack brushes. Keep up the great work. Cheers from Vancouver, BC Canada

I always enjoy watching Jen work. She is a true professional and a great pin stripper. If your into stripping I suggest you check out all her work

As for paint flow consistency, I’ve had problems with the paint “piling”between strokes on larger letters. The lines don’t seem to flow together. It doesn’t seem to matter if I reduce in the cup or at loading.

Add some penetrol, chromaflo, or some boiled linseed oil not all but one of what you have on hand. For this sign I was reducing with 1shots high temp and just a few drops of chromaflo mixed into my paint and it was good to go

Was gonna ask what those snazzy wide brushes you use then I seen your outline and figure out of my wheelhouse

Just curious as to what brushes you used for this job? Big fan keep it up👍

first brush you see is a mack 1992 flat, and then the 2nd brush which i used for the outlines and yellow rose lettering is a french masters either a 3010 or 3173, then for the drop shadow i went back to the 1992 i believe

This was actually a sign foam of some sort. We re used the buildings previous sign it had special mounts for this sign to slide right in and it was in great shape to reuse

Being a righty, it always seems strange to see a lefty work

I understand that that is how most lefties do it , from left to right.👋👍
