My goodness 1300 carpet area and just 66k rent. First of all it is very difficult to find such a big flat for rent in Mumbai and even if one finds it would be min 1 lakh per month

1300 sq. ft is a big flat? That looks like a matchbox. hardly any cross ventilation and sunshine. no offense to that person who is living there. here are some stats from South Chennai - 1600 sq. ft in a gated community, 35k rent including maintenance, just 6 kms from the beach, just 1 km walk to Accenture, Wipro, Cap gemini, All premium schools and colleges in 5 kms radius.. 28 kms to the airport, 1 hour drive to the airport in peak traffic..

Buddy it seems you have recently moved to gurgaon, people from other places who come to gurgaon pay hefty amount for everything after few years once they are friends with experienced Gurgaonites they realize how they were fooled by brokers and the market - thats how things are in Gurgaon for any new comer. Rent he is paying is absolutely perfect and what I am paying too in similar building

I found rent reasonable for 4bhk. But, passage width is narrow. Rooms are average size and not spacious. Unsure of light and air circulation. May be a good complex to live.

That corridor in that apartment looks like my hostel corridor during my college days - no cross ventilation, no sunshine - poor architecture - no offense to that person living there - these builders like DLF are just outright scammers - they treat their customers like cattle

Actually that's the perfect way to build it. Passageway should get as little square footage as possible because it's just a transit space.

This sickens me as a Bengali on how they can charge 66k rent for 1300ft flat. Such flats should not be rented above INR 5,000. India is becoming a place only for the rich. Rest of India has a lot to learn from Bengal. Where ever you look you see only poor people in Bengal. Look at our street food with no hygiene which is meant for poor people. Bengal has one of the highest number of beggars which makes me proud as a Bengali. Our politicians are always development oriented towards their families. They take a cut even in mid day meal scheme meant for children. All our politicians are intellectuals who have taken Bengal to great heights. Bengal is like Switzerland with no snow. We are number 1 state in India. Our CM is adored and loved by millions in the world. Learn from us how to be poor, this way you don't have to pay 66k rent for a flat.

If buying an apartment is more than 1cr nobody will rent for 5k or 15k.. it’s a loss for the buyer too. The buying and construction cost should reduce 1st for lowering the rent prices
