It's fraud, actually. And many of those won't even know it since all they do is keep spreading misinformation by others without using their brains for a second. Many literally have no idea what they are doing at all and only want to make quick money, others have no idea at all and don't want anything but still harm everyone, others do it on purpose - the real scammers and other criminals, and of course shady wannabe "composers" who daily steal tracks, retitle them and sell them as their own. They even used our music to get deals with major labels like Universal and others. It's sad and quite pathetic to be honest, but that's the way it is. This makes it harder and harder to even give away music for free, because keeping everyone safe using our music for free turned into a full-time job no one pays us for

Hi, hope you're well! As stated in the description, you can use it for free without monetization. Monetization is not possible without a license, because people receive a copyright notice to protect them from false claims and strikes by criminals. This way your content is safe. And it's literally the only way. When people search for "no copyright" music or similar terms, they obviously don't want any copyright issues. This is the only way to prevent them from any issues and harm, give them exactly what they want and keep their channels safe.
We had a very quick look at you channel and your animations are awesome. And that takes a lot of time and effort. Because of that, here's some well-intended personal advice: if you have any ambitions here and don't want to risk losing your channel or the ability to monetize your videos forever if you don't mute all of the music, never use music by anyone who does not register their music with Content ID.
We work with some of the biggest brands in the world and award-winning filmmakers and have seen countless cases of abuse of content of any kind.
If the original owners of all rights don't register their music, anyone else can (and will). Then they gain power over the content of anyone who uses the music, since they can issue false claims and strikes against every single video that contains the music. The way we do it (and everyone does it who actually cares about what happens to the people using the music) is de facto the only way to protect video creators from being harmed by criminals.
You should NEVER use music that is not registered with Content ID, unless you want to risk losing your channel and never be able to make a new one (worst-case scenario), spending weeks or months trying to clear the situation or never be able to monetize a video if they don't remove the fraudulent claim. We could say a lot about specific situations, we got a ton of false claims ourselves. As soon as content exceeds a certain threshold of popularity, criminals/scammers will fraudulently register the music as theirs. And sometimes it's just because people don't know what they're doing. We even had 15 year-olds steal our music (we usually wouldn't even care about that at all), use it as a beat to rap to and then distribute their music with companies who register the music with Content ID. and as in any other case, everyone using the music received a false claim. So even without bad intent, just due to lack of knowledge, everyone can get screwed just because someone ticked the wrong box. One of them actually via soundcloud. So imagine getting illegal claims just because some kid uploaded a song with a few clicks and wants to have it distributed. That's all it takes. It's quite absurd, actually. Others steal our music and use it to get deals with Universal and everyone received false claims and strikes. Cases like these happen every single day and most of them take a lot of time and effort to resolve, and there's never a guarantee that they can be resolved. And that's the real issue. As you can see, not registering music with Content ID if you are the real owner would be completely irresponsible these days except if you don't care at all what happens to the people using the music.
We not only give away tens of thousands of free tracks for non-commercial videos without monetization, tracks with the same quality as those our clients license (many even are the same tracks), we also do our best to protect the content of everyone using them. And it costs us a lot of time thanks to all the misinformation about Content ID out there spread by people who don't know anything about the reality of the situation, which leads to some creators shooting themselves in the foot by believing copyright notifications/claims are a bad thing. It might sound counterintuitive to some, to receive a claim to prevent claims (and especially strikes). But as long as CZcams works the way it does and the world is full of people trying to make money off of other people's content or just harm them, that's the way it works.
Some people fear claims while they should fear not receiving a claim by the real owner(s) of all rights. We work together with CZcams to protect anyone using our music and protect the platform itself.
And that's only part of the story. People who offer their music for free for commercial purposes must release it under a certain Creative Commons license (you can sort by CC in CZcams search). If they don't, they can change their mind at any time and once more, everyone using the music is screwed. That's one of the many reasons people always buy licenses for any commercial use of any kind of content.
And using CC music or even public domain music still doesn't prevent people from the scenario above, since others just claim it as theirs and register it with Content ID illegally. There even are whole companies that don't do anything but claiming classical music. Public domain music like this must not be registered, since obviously anyones interpretation would be claimed. But they do it and skim the money from those who don't dare to dispute. Sony once started claiming white noise as their property. That was fun too.
It definitely doesn't matter at all to us if you use our music or music by others, but we really hope the information above helps to keep your content safe in the future. If you have any questions, you can always contact us via our website, always happy to help. And if you're just starting out and your ad income doesn't justify getting a license and still want to use the track, just let us know and we can give a decent discount. Our policy is very simple and fair - if people don't make money using our music, we don't want to get paid for it. And for everything in-between there's usually a solution

@@sayannandi4872 Hi, hope all is well! Of course. On CZcams, always check the description of a video, usually people mention it there just the way we do. If it's a channel that uploads music by others, try to go one step further and look up the track on the artist's channel, if possible.
If you're also looking for music in different libraries or marketplaces, just make sure the website mentions that the tracks are registered with Content ID (at least in the FAQ). Some only have registered tracks, others search functions let you sort by registered tracks. We'd always heavily recommend to stay away from anyone advertising non-registered tracks, no matter if libraries or any of the "no copyright" channels on CZcams that promise people won't get claims. Those promises are complete nonsense, as you can clearly see if you read the answer to the comment above or have a look at our FAQ. In general, by now pretty much any music from real composers and musicians is registered or will be soon, since there is no other option anymore. The ones left are either people who make music as a hobby and don't know what they are doing yet, and the others are people trying to make profit from other people's content or simply don't care if people might lose control over their own content. This week alone, this very track here has been stolen dozens of times and was uploaded by other "composers" under a new title. And this track doesn't even have that many views yet. But since it's registered in CZcams's system, those frauds can't harm anyone using our music anymore.

Hello! I`m machinimator-guy. Machinima is a movie in games. I`m making my own films in GTA, which means im making machinimas. Well, there is a trailer to my new project (im goin` to upload it soon) and i REALLY want to use ur great track for that. The thing is that this trailer will be shown as AD in some videos. In a perfect world, we'd love to give it to you for free as it is for most people, but since you plan to use it as an AD, it's a commercial use and a license is required to have legal documents and clear the copyright claim, which protects all users from abuse and copyright strikes by criminals stealing pur music and using it to harm everyone using it in their videos. Please have a look at our video descriptions or our FAQ if you want to learn more about that.
To use it commercially, you always need to be able to prove to Google that you have the right to use a track. If we could monitor that ourselves we would do it, but tens of thousands of new people use our music each month, so therefore that's impossible. If you want to use it for free without using it as an ad that's totally fine without a license, of course.
We always give big discounts if people can't afford licenses yet, but we currently have a summer sale anyway until June 20. 50% off and all you need is the standard license anyway to use the track forever in as many videos as needed. That being said, we wouldn't stop you to even use it commercially of course and we never take down any videos, but you can run into all kinds of issues if you don't have a license for any third party content and use it commercially. We heavily recommend to never use any unlicensed content for advertising purposes. That's why businesses always license content, otherwise they'd make themselves incredibly vulnerable, juristically and financially.
