Is e85 basically the same as methanol injection? In the sense that does methanol and ethanol make about the same power?
@@XXSABERGOTTOMS yes and no. ethanol obviously has a way higher resistance to knock, and so does the addition of methanol but im sure its complimentary. methanol gets injected pre combustion chamber so it cools air temps significantly which the e doesnt do as much. meth kinda acts as a second intercooler with chemical benefits

@@naturalstrength1 yeah they do, I have a 997 turbo done by Sam by design and I run e85 because my fuel system is upgraded
@@csmith5082 I think he's talking about 991's. It's difficult to upgrade the fuel system without going to an intake manifold and extra injectors, syvecs ecu, etc.
It gets very pricey at that level and many aren't willing to do it.

Am I mistake or did this same 720s race the the black 2017 911 turbo s with upgrades 68mm turbos and it was close? Been searching that video and cannot locate it. Was curious what 911 faired better against the 720s.

Only ms109 tune = over 900hp to the wheels, absurdđȘđ» đ€Łđ€Ł.. that 911 turbo s is otherworldly đźâđšđźâđš ( pdk is gods transmissionđ )
The 720 isnât over 900whp. Heâs well under it. Heâs on a stage 1 which is around 850-875 max. And the tranny in the 720s shifts quicker than the pdk.
900 to the wheels with only race gas isnât going to happen.

Heâs running slower than a 100 octane tune that has downpipes. Probably 4.0. He would be easily mid 3âs with downpipes and ms109. My 100 octane tune with downpipes runs 3.6-3.8.

Two of my buddies have the same, one a 765 and one a 720, and theyâre best is 4.3. Theyâre running 8.9 @155 in the 1/4, which is as good as Iâve ever seen a DP/tune 720 run
Mid 3âs would mean running a 8.5 1/4 mile over 160mph; I canât ever see that happening for a 720 without upgraded turbos
