Our group of Moldavian students traveled to Tartu by tourist bus from Tallinn during winter vacations in February 1974.
I will never forget an old guide/professor Leesment so friendly, showing us proudly the famous University of Tartu.
And the lunch somewhere - a Swedish table - was delicious ! Now I like also Saku beer !Unforgettable life lasting
memories/trip to Estonia ! And I read the book -"Bye, yellow cat" by Mati Unt.Warm Greetings from Kishinău/Moldavia

Hi! I am Hungarian from Slovakia. I watched this video because I was just crucious if I could find similar words to Hungarian or not. Yes, I found 2: one word is definetly similar: "try", and the other is not so similar (because just the 2 "t" letters are on the same place - third and at the end - in the word in the phrase in which is used), but probably I would find out it's meaning from the phrases by a few minutes easily without english translation, it is the word "evening".

Hi! I'm an Estonian from Tallinn who has learned some Hungarian in the past. There are some words like szem-silm, szarv-sarv, menni-minna, a women: ee naine, fi nainen - hu nö, a tree: ee/fi puu - hu fa, head ee/fi pää (standard northern Estonian pea) - hu fö.etc. But there are the similarities in the structures of languages that don't exist in the languages of our Indo-European neighbours' tongues that you see if you study a bit. :)
