  • Are you trying to get a shotgun shell open but aren't sure how to go about it without yknow, getting blasted, in this video I show you how to do just that.
Although I offer tips in this video I don't recommend that anyone do this as it CAN be dangerous. So if you're going to do it, be careful because I claim no responsibility for your actions.
    Thank you for watching!

What're you using your empty shell for?

Depends on the shotgun. Some can take mini others strictly 2 3/4ths to 3 in

I can’t find 209 primers anywhere for my muzzleloader, I believe shotgun shell primers are the same size, I have plenty of 12 gauge live shells, do you think it’s possible to remove the primer after taking out the shot and powder and be able to use it in my muzzleloader? Thanks for the video

I'm in the same boat @Mikecup Did you try to remove the primers? If so what technique did you use?

@@SaddleHunter i saw a video of a guy knockin the primer out from the inside with some sort of small hex screw and a mallet. the comments said it wasnt particularly safe but it seemed to work out fine for the guy who filmed it, just be careful i guess

@@AgrievousSpooks Don't do this! It is not safe. One out of a thousand will ignite even from a shock/strike from the anterior/front end. Find and seat new primers.
