As a college student, I lean hard into a frugal bond approach. Therefore I think it’s important for bond fans my age to use bond as a source of inspiration to fine what YOUR style is. Sure like David said save up for a bond piece but I would encourage mixing and matching and have a bond inspired outfit. Going for a complete look can be fun, but inside you know it’s something you are copying. I would recommend take elements maybe even a bond piece within your means and make it you

Something my fiancé pointed out that I was not aware of: posture sells the look. She told me that my clothes were saying one thing and my stance another. Vestments alone can’t make you look confident and inner confidence doesn’t always show in the outside. It requires a conscious effort.

Wearing the wrong colours for your skin & hair combination. Sean Connery had Winter colouring, so looked best in cool tones. Earth tones on the other hand, didn't really work.

Hi David, a common mistake I see is copying Bond/film outfits exactly. Instead of looking natural and comfortable, it looks like someone is cosplaying as Bond. Don’t be afraid to add your own personal touches to outfits- look inspired by Bond, don’t necessarily look exactly like Bond.

I'm a style freak and a Bond freak. I'm also a connoisseur of fragrances. Or, in the parlance of we fragrance afficianados, a fraghead. All of your advice is spot on. Especially about making sure your clothes fit and the importance of taking care of your shoes. If you're waiting for the "but," here it is: do not spray your fragrance into the air and walk into it. It is a total waste. The fragrance that does manage to land on your skin will be barely clinging on and disappear in no time. If you have a habit (like me) of buying expensive fragrances, you definitely don't want to waste it like that. Instead target the pulse points on your body. Every time your heart beats and sends warm blood through those points it will reactivate the molecules in the fragrance and make it project off of your skin.
As far as spraying your clothes, some fragheads do that religiously and some are adamantly against it. The pros are that the fragrance will last a whole lot longer on your clothes than on your skin. The cons are it could potentially permanently stain certain fabrics. I don't do it but if you do I would suggest testing a small inconspicuous area of your shirt first and see if it's going to stain. Something I recently came to realize is to always error on sizing up. You can always take away material, you can’t add more.

One thing that does pain me to see is when someone buys an outfit from one of the films and wears it as is seen on screen. If you're doing this, it just looks like cosplay. It's better to get inspired by outfits seen on screen, rather than just copying them verbatum. Also look at how the various actors wore the clothes, all with a sense of confidence and ease. Personally, the outfits from the Spectre Post-Train Sequence or Goldfinger Alps scenes inspired me to wear sports jackets, not just to wear exactly what I saw on screen. Take inspiration from what you see and don't just cosplay the looks.

Absolutely! Some outfitting, such as QOS polo, jeans, boots and jacket, is one you can definitely wear without a cosplay feel.
One of the best Bond Experience videos. Well done. One has to be selective, and often times I wind up buying a "Bond" article of clothing in a different colour from that featured in a film. It's a way to make it my own.

I feel like this was an appropriately timed video you came out with.
I lost 50 lbs in the last year and half and am trying to reload my wardrobe. Finding not only some 007 clothing pieces but clothes in general has been a major trial and error. I’m personally dealing with challenges in the waist with shirts/pants since going from a 38 to 34 and having broad shoulders (42 in).
Appreciate the tip about speaking to brands about the sizes.

Kohl's is surprisingly good for some pieces. Their Apt 9 and Marc Antony in-store brands are great choices for casual wear inspired by the Craig era Bond, and very good fabrics and construction for their price.

This one gets me and I'm currently living it - having an ideal body type, working towards it and getting it. THEN buying clothes to fit it only to lose focus and losing that body type and having to put a lot of effort to correct where I went astray.

Hi David, Another great video. As well as 'body type' I think it's also important to stress 'colour type'. People are all different colour types; the muted type, the warm type, the cool type, the light type, the dark type. It's important not to wear colours that don't suit your colour type. They just won't fit with you. Everyone fits into one of these types. E.g. Dalton is 'the cool type'. Moore is the 'warm type'.
Hi David. The tailoring advice is very apt, I have used a tailor for the last 5-10 years and my jackets always fit better, like wise my jeans, chinos etc, which I have taken in at the waist. Makes all the difference. I have to give you a thank you as well after doing the Solden Royale Filmwear review, I listened and it helped with my fit, as did the size chart. Thanks

David as someone else stated, the thing is to take inspiration from Bond and find what works for you and your budget. I got inspired by the No Time To Die Tommy Bahama shirt look and created the same look with another shirt, pants and boat shoes. Only I knew it was from the film. Got some nice compliments but at the end of the day people are so busy with life they don’t always notice. So I agree! Wear what you want to wear and don’t worry about others think or say.

I've definitely got lost in clothes that didn't suit me very well. A few years back, I wore a biker style leather jacket that swamped me, and.... I made it work as best I could, but I definitely would have looked much better in something fitted. And I definitely think your point about wearing what is right for you is so crucial, it's so easy to lean in on trying to emulate your fashion inspirations such as Bond, only to find yourself wearing things that actually don't bring out the authenticity in you. Life isn't a fancy dress party, it's not about going around pretending your 007, it's about bringing forth a sense of style that brings out the confidence within you so you can bring your best self to the world!

I definitely agree with the comment about shoes. I was buying cheap, imitation leather shoes for work, and had to replace them every 3-6 months. I finally decided to buy a pair of quality leather shoes, and I've been wearing them almost every day for 4 years now.

First, thank you for clearing up some problems in fashion and style. My father was my style inspiration I was lucky to have had a father that cared about my appearance and taught me the rules young. When it comes to bond, there are 2 bonds the movie character and the Fleming story character, both differ in style. I prefer the Fleming version as Bond takes style secondary as almost intuition. He doesn’t wear the big brand items in the films, due to product placement, items he wears are classic period pieces tailored because of his era and style mainly from his English university and military background, maybe picking up a style tip from the women in his life. Great video David! Agree with all of these. Some extras to add to the next one perhaps...no to brown belt and black shoes or vice versa, no to buttoning every button on a suit jacket, no to clip on braces, no to matching a bond outfit exactly so it becomes cosplay, no to white socks with a suit...all I can think of right now, haha. Loved the piece, great job as usual David, I'll admit that I've been guilty of many of those examples. I think the thing I've learned is you can grab Bond style without matching exactly what he wears. i.e. today I've got on the Jamaica Tommy Bahama long sleeve silk shirt, but mine is navy instead of black because I personally like blue (and I've got too many other black shirts). I still feel the look and I still love the style even though it is slightly customized to what I like.
So many issues can be eradicated by using a tailor. A bespoke suit can be made for substantially less than a high end ready to wear suit but not only will it be the right size it’ll suit the man you are, the way you walk, the way you stand by the bar. I’ve had a suit made every few years since I was 16 and I’m 50 now. If you want statement designer labels buy accessories - tie or sunglasses. Shoes - repairable, Goodyear welted. Find the size, width AND last that fits you. Have half a day in the shop with a Northampton shoemaker. Spend double your normal shoe budget on a single pair that’s perfect and just own less pairs. As I was told as a boy - spend your money on good shoes and a good bed because if you’re not in one you’re in the other! 😎

Great tip on the cologne, used to mess that up and it takes the class away the more you use
You can't really generalize with fragrances like that. They're all different and, what's more, react differently to each individual's body chemistry. For instance, I can spray Parfums de Marly Layton three times on my neck and choke out a room. But if I spray Prada L'homme Water Sport three times I will barely smell it on myself. A decent fragrance should achieve my rule of three: three sprays should project about three feet for at least three hours. If you want your fragrance to last longer or project more you can experiment and spray your clothes (testing an inconspicuous area to make sure it doesn't permanently stain of course) or use more than three sprays or spray different pulse points throughout your body, etc.
Excellent points! The things that tend to annoy me the most are:
1. Not removing the tacking stitches on your new suit before wearing it
2. Bad posture. Your suit/clothes might look great, but if you're slouching it ruins the whole appearance.
3. Bad tie knots. You should learn how to properly knot a tie, and which knot to make according to your shirt's collar.
Mainly small details, but they really do make a difference!

I think the biggest mistake of all is wearing clothes that make you feel like you're wearing a costume, but that has to do with one of the things you said, wearing something that's not right for you.

I've struggled with not being able to, or sometimes willing, to get the actual item that Bond wears. Daniel Love helps with this ;). I have also been one of the people that cared about what people have thought. I've started to change that and I've even inspired others at my office to partake in my 'Tie Tuesday' that I started for myself.

When it comes to watches, I hear often when someone thinks a watch is too big or bold “you can’t wear that with a specific outfit(suit) except you’re Bond.
I love bigger watches, like a Planet Ocean paired with a nice suit, looks just great!
Also, if I had to pick between a little “too” tight or little too lose suit, I would take too tight any time.
But most importantly, confidence. You can dress someone like Bond or David in a potato bag and they still would look great! Why? Confidence.

As always, spot-on advice! You’ve said many times (and it’s stuck with me), buy the best you can afford. Quality (even with an “iconic alternative” or “Frugal Bond” piece) will show through every time. Until a few weeks ago, I had worn a Bulova Marine Star as a stand-in for the Omega Seamaster from the Brosnan era. I just turned 50 and my wife found and bought a ‘99 2531.80 as my gift. We are in a place where we are comfortable enough to do that. Likewise your comment on shoes...I just placed an order for a pair of Church’s Ryder IIIs that I’ll likely be buried in one day! 🤣 The alternative pair needed replacing so I figured I’d go for it. These are my first luxury watch and shoe purchases and I have the community to thank for the nudge to step up and take the plunge!

I have worn a wider tie with a jacket that has skinny lapels.. I didn’t think it mattered until it was pointed out to me 🤣. That has been since corrected 😉. Something I used to struggle with and kind of still do is wearing something as more of cosplay than my everyday wear. what Ive started to do is take different aspects of different bond outfits and mesh them together into an outfit that i like

I think it's interesting. Daniel Craig introduced the casual Bond to the cinema. Bond was outdated with Pierce because he was dress pants, dress shoes, sport jackets. I like the casual Bond look.
i know its something you've addressed in a previous video, but the 007 branding, particularly on the Barton Perriera glasses, i just can't image a secret agent wearing his own call sign :D

Very good advice, I agree with everything, even when I'm a bit lazy about fashion sometimes. I only wear casual, but I'm very conscious about some rules of fashion and style. I think the most important advice you have given is to choose the right size: I think is the most common mistake of men, and it really doesn't make you any favour. "If somebody can smell you without getting about a foot and a half close to you, you probably have too much cologne on". Haha, definitely. Very polite way to say it, that made me laugh.
Many great points in your video, David, and in the comments thus far. Perhaps an additional rule: stick to a uniform look that looks good on you, just as the Bond of Ian Fleming's books do (and to a lesser extent, the movies), and add clothing that complements that uniform..
1) Uniform: Bond usually sticks to a simple formula: expertly tailored blue or grey suits, crisp cotton white or blue shirts, a subdued necktie tied four-in-hand (the smaller knot), high-quality black or brown shoes with matching belt. The Bond of the books prefers loafers, which takes away from the more polished look of the suit, but the movies deviate as well, such as the black chukka boots with the grey suit in the opening sequence in Skyfall. Strangely enough, the book Bond wears short-sleeved shirts, but the movie Bond always goes (properly) long-sleeved with a suit.
2) Uniform: Similarly, Bond's black-tie outfits are simple and uniform: single-breasted tuxedo, black satin bowtie, and white shirt. In the movies Bond ignores convention and doesn't wear a black cummerbund to cover the waist and prevent a bit of white showing, but instead the costumers use high-rise trousers to ensure the look is right.
3) Uniform: Bond's casual wear is fairly repeating as well, with blue or black casual or polo shirts, military-style jumpers (sweaters), and dark or khaki wool or cotton trousers with chukka boots (Sean Connery & Daniel Craig). A Harrington, leather, or Barbour jacket finishes the look.
4) The great thing about building on the basic "uniform" is that you can have multiple outfits with just a few pieces of clothing. By sticking to blues and grays, most of the clothing can intermix and be worn in both business and casual occasions. We occasionally see this mix in the movies, such as in Skyfall when Bond wears suit trousers with a white shirt, tie, and military sweater together. The brands don't really matter - it's the skillful combination of clothes that all look great together.
We all have clothes that were bought on a whim, and fail to fit in with the majority of our wardrobe. That can be fun at times, but generally having items that are versatile get more wear. Your example of the green overcoat is one such, but items like Connery's blue terrycloth "onesie," Lazenby's light brown golfing outfit, Moore's safari jackets (or blue leisure suit), or Craig's Madagascar shirt are other examples of items that will get little circulation in the normal person's wardrobe. Purchasing items that fit within your chosen look or "uniform" ensures that they get plenty of wear.
Another fantastic video! A little thing I try to do is keep to what I think is a classic look, rather than trendy. Moore's clothing has arguably dated worse than Connery's for this reason

When I read the title of this I thought you were referring to mistakes made in the style of bond, e.g. avoid peers who say "old man" a lot!

Shoes is definitely something that should be invested in. Nowadays there's plenty of different companies that make shoes in the very affordable $200-$350 range. Brands like Meermin, Ace Marks, TLB Mallorca, Scarosso, Loake etc are all brands which make terrific shoes for the price - all of which are goodyear welted or blake stitched.

@@smacwhinnie Not particularly. The likes of Meermin sell shoes at $195 but have the details and quality of shoes in the $400+ range like closed channel stitching. They also have a greater range of lasts available which would be more dynamic than any of the lasts Allen Edmonds uses

Completely right re the shoes. My Father always used to tell me that you can tell a man by his shoes. He meant that in a way that you can wear good clothes, but if the shoes are bad then that tells you all you need to know. He also meant that it was an indication of the man and how much attention he paid to HIMSELF. Not about impressing others with flamboyant outerwear. He wasn't rich but stood by this. Plus, he always took me to every Bond Movie from Your Eyes Only (I was very young) up. Random fact; as he used to work in TV he actually sat in the original Goldfinger Bond Aston Martin DB5.
Two of the mistakes I see
1 buttoning up every single button on a suit or waistcoat (top-bottom)
2 fake bow ties (mainly the factory cut ones that look “perfectly symmetrical”)

Hey David, something i often see is bad timing for a style. Winter is winter, summer is summer. Some people own an expensive polo, or sweater but no jacket that would fit, or they just want to show the clothes to everybody and thus don’t wear a jacket in winter. I think it makes sense to complete a look for various occasions or time of the year...
Big mistake I used to make would be spotting some article of clothing in a store, trying it on there, buying it, and when I'm home and got it on for longer than the minute or two I did in the dressing room, realising it's uncomfortable or doesn't fit well.

N.Peal No Time To Die Jumper. Got the size small. Should have got the medium or ordered both as you mention, nearly a year later regretting it now. Its fits fine but maybe just a bit neat. Need to get myself onto the Bond25 fitness challenge ; )
I would say to not be afraid of buying Bond pieces in different colourways! I managed to snag a Billy Reid peacoat in light grey and it is definitely worth it even when it isn’t the same colour. I also have a pair of C&J Tetbury boots in black suede, very casual and yet the chukka is a casual style of boot anyhow. David talks about the ‘invisible Bond’ moment and this is another way to do that.

My mistakes have usually involved the style of the times, that is trying to wear 70s Roger Moore or 90s Tim Dalton, (the yellow FYEO shirt or baggy chinos), I ended up just looking outdated, now I try to find a modern alternative.
On the subject of finance I am guilty of running up a debt because I want the latest Bond item...STOP! There are plenty of affordable alternatives ( I have Levis Henley, Dickies long sleeve polo, Samuel Windsor shoes) but I also found a Burberry trench on ebay for £120 and a Sinclair shirt on offer at half price so keep an eye out for bargains and special offers (Mason & Sons/Orlebar Brown).
Also, don't pretend to be what you're not, I'm not ex SAS so I can't strut down the beach in LaPerla trunks, I'm a bit of a lanky geek so sometimes a bit of Q style suits me too. I try to dress for the occasion, add some Bond, have some fun and not take myself too seriously.
I realised quite quickly not to buy something just because it's from a film. I bought a replica of the "Layer Cake" leather jacket in black. Couple of issues. Screen accurate jacket wasn't black. Type of leather determined the drape. There's a reason the Dunhill screen version probably cost four times as much. Much softer. Finally, black leather just doesn't suit me. I looked like Ritchie trying to be The Fonz 🙄
Okay David, a few I definitely do. Some of the fit/hem. Not too much, but occasionally the fit will leave some things sitting a bit poorly or loose, or not quite the right fit, or even paired well with my pandemic beard. My Magnoli Spectre polo. Love it! A bit short in the chest and rides up and always feels embarrassing when I lift my arms. Outside of that, the money issue. Being frugal is my life at the moment, and some frugal options never quite work.
Big issue for me is the last one you mentioned. I am the embarrassed type, let's call it years of trauma from peers. I also live in a relatively hip part of Los Angeles and have gotten bad comments when in my NTTD sweater or wearing my cream OHMSS suit. Not fun. But, I'm working on. I've got a pair of CR las perlas I intend to wear by the pool this summer, fragile ego be damned.
Personally my biggest bond mistakes have been what you said. “Bond wears it! So can I!” Unfortunately at 6’6”, 270lbs it’s difficult finding big and tall bond options. I went for the Casino Royale blue polo and light/tan pants and ended up looking like Bond in a crop top polo and high waters lol

Good stuff. I’d say wearing the wrong type of clothes for location. As a TV journalist, I’d cover stories at the beach wearing a suit and tie. I looked like an idiot. I should have lost the jacket and tie (unless the story was something serious). I think we like Craig because his Bond dresses for the occasion. He’s still looks great but doesn’t look like he doesn’t belong.

Great advice David! Fit! Too tight, too loose, make sure your clothes fit. The CZcams channel Sartorial Talks with Hugo Jocomet has the best advise on how to take care of your shoes as well as suits etc. And please one break minimum in your pant leg. I don't know why it bugs me so much to see guys with their pants bunched around their ankles.

1. Things that I may only wear once and not gets its value, such as the midnight tuxedo. Spend large amounts of money for a potential one time use.

I have found that to get use out of a tuxedo, don't wait for a special function or wedding but you make it a tuxedo night. I know it is difficult since until you wear it in public you will feel self-conscious. When to wear a tuxedo? After 6:00 PM...go from there.
Can we please make a vote for Pierce Brosnan to come back one last time to be a Bond,much like Sean did in Never say never,in my opinion he is in the right age right now for that and got the perfect look aswell,please can u do something about it,(sorry for my bad english)

Perfect timing, my Magnoli SPECTRE polo just arrived and I'm worried it's too tight..
I ran into that myself with the same shirt until I learned a little about “vanity sizing”. If you’re in the US, a large or extra large doesn’t fit here like it does elsewhere. Daniel Love at Royale Filmwear does an excellent job of explaining this issue. It seems we Americans are considered “super sized” and our clothing is sized so as not to hurt our feelings! I don’t fit that mold but I am 6’2”, 200 pounds with a 36 waist and 48 chest. I measure about 20-21 over the shoulders with an athletic build. To buy from Magnoli or Royale Filmwear, I have to get at least a XXL or 3XL to get a good fit. These are usually a perfect fit for me. As David says, I have a great tailor who can nip and tuck where needed. That’s a great polo and if you need to size up, Indy and Joachim are great to work with! I had to upsize my original purchase on the same polo! Good luck!

My style mistake has been buying my shirts/tops size across the board, not taking into account the fit of the shirt and my body-type. I'm athletic up top but my V-taper is more of a U-taper (LOL). To correct this, I buy a size up and spend the money to have it tailored to land just below the waist.

The biggest style mistake I see is the crease break at the pants cuff. I don't know when that came into style, but I hate it. Look at the crease in a Marine's uniform pants. You could cut a diamond with it, and the crease never breaks.

Definitely guilty of overspending on items because they HAD to be screen accurate, meanwhile plenty of frugal alternatives or almost-exact replicas for a fraction of the price, which often times looked and fit better than the SA piece.

I think that one of the biggest style mistakes I see is when people try to do frugal bond, but go too frugal. There is a happy medium between the high end luxury brands and the cheapest possible option. I have worked to find that spot where I can find quality garments and accessories that will last, but also do not break the bank.

I find it's hard to get the right amount of scent. My wife tends to be too conservative with hers. She puts hers on and asks me what I think of the scent, and I say, "what scent?"
As for other mistakes, I think a lot of people don't properly match their blazers/sports jackets and trousers. It's something I've done out of convenience that I shouldn't have done so much. Some people might take that beautiful double-breasted blazer of yours and pair it with chinos. While it's not exactly a sin, chinos are not going to do that blazer justice. It needs something dressier like woollen flannel, wool gabardine or wool cavalry twill trousers. Cotton gabardine trousers (which are similar to but dressier than chinos) can work for less formal blazers. Some men may also make the mistake of using suit trousers with their blazers. Sometimes it can work, but typical suit trousers are made of a wool that's too formal to pair with a blazer.
It's difficult to make a true 'mistake' when it comes to how we dress, because there is a lot of personal taste involved with how we dress. It's less about not making mistakes and more about asking ourselves, 'how can we do better?'

I enjoyed this video, some good pointers. Bad clothing choices I have seen? In a group setting too many people wearing the same exact shirt (doesn't happen too often). Bond fans out in public wearing some sort of Bond t-shirt (my own bugaboo, t-shirts are underwear). Bad fittings, usually too large. Not looking at the whole outfit and ensuring it all goes together...what is the look? Don't look like you dressed in a dark closet. Bad overlarge dad jeans (be better than the GAP). Shoes, shoes, do they add some elegance to your feet or do they make you look like you have hooves? Clean yourselves up, and always dress a level above the crowd. Living like Bond is not for two days a year, but 365 days a year. The biggest, lose weight. Being like Bond try to get into decent shape. If you are obese it will negatively effect your look. When at a decent weight you will be amazed at the fit and the better clothing choices you will have. I found a big difference once I was back into a size 42R, the world opened up.
I find that a person of any size can look good in well-fitting clothes. While it's easier to look good in clothes if we're in good shape, I don't think we should shame anyone into feeling they have to be a certain size to look good in the clothes they wear. Unfortunately, it's difficult for someone who isn't a slim to average size to look good in their clothes if they weren't made by a world-class bespoke tailor, but it is possible. Valentin Zukovsky looks mighty fine in his suits.

Daniel Craig taught us that suits shouldn't be too tight even if you got a fit body. Some of his suits were too tight in Skyfall and SPECTRE.
The mistake I make is VERY Bond'esque: Since I work hard and earn my pay, make sure my meager rent and bills are paid, If I see something I like...for instance anything from the 60th anneversary collection that catches my eye I'm going to acquire. As long as I Keep $4-$5K in savings.
However there's a line that I see that I getting close to. I've made it a personal rule not to go in debt or get into any financial trouble of any kind. Setting limits is the best way to go as well as having a plan.
The ony thing I won't touch is Tom Ford. Obviously they're a great brand but shelling out $2-$10K for them isn't worth the risk.

While I agree that cosplay can be gimmicky sometimes, it's kind of hard to avoid certain combinations. Navy polo, dark blue jeans, and brown suede chukkas are some of my favorite wardrobe pieces... and if I happen to wear the QoS Harrington that day 🤷. Early on I used to think I was switching it up by wearing the navy sunspel polo with my khaki jeans, until I remember he had a similar look is CR. But if you feel confident with how you look I think other people can sense that and that is the most important part. And if your decide to wear something that happens to have the same feel as an outfit on screen, it is alright as long as it matches your environment. Obviously I'm not saying my wardrobe is strictly on-screen Bond outfit components. Just as an example I own the sunspel riviera polo and t-shirt in a couple other colors because I loved the fit (especially the polo). But it is a guilty pleasure of mine to wear the solden jacket with a pair of black jeans in the winter.
One thing that I’ve run into is the “feeling” of the clothes. I’m talking about how something makes you feel when you put it on - that soar of confidence. It doesn’t have to be from Bond to make you feel like Bond. It’s all about feeling good about yourself and how you look - that’s why Bond does it. It’s not about the brands. It’s about the way the clothing assists in making you feel confident. Bond can feel good in sweats and tennis shoes, or a Tom Ford suit. But it’s always about how HE feels about his own appearance.
Yeah, some really tall person would rock this trench. Youd look better it was middle of thigh lenght and with belt.
I also got clothes thats too small or too big. I have pretty bad taste especially if try to look classy. So im choosing to rely on someones opinion when im not sure, maybe il learn something that way

I'm a 28 waist and 28 inseam and sometimes the smallest size available is 30x30. So, I hem them and wear a belt.
I'm also a 36 chest, so that makes finding shirt sizes difficult.
Less of a style mistake but a financial mistake. If you run a 007 instagram account or something similar don’t buy clothing just to generate content. You may end up with things that just aren’t suited to you
You have to be in superb physical shape and that takes self control and extreme discipline. None of the style is going to work if you don’t put the time in to become the best physical shape you can be.
Something that I can't stand is people who wear undershirts or tank tops under their dress shirts where you can really see the outline of them...this completely takes away from the Bond Style you are going for. If you need to wear an undershirt, invest in a good quality one that is 'invisible' - there is a company called "Sloane Men" who makes them.

Oh man! The tightness thing! The suits that Craig has been fitted out with since skyfall! The Mexico suit was the same! So tight! I get it that it’s part of the characterisation and about holding him in caged panther blah blah blah but when he meets Mallory he looks like he’s wearing his old school uniform. When I think of he charcoal brioni suit in Casino Royale (huge early 2000s tie knots!) he looked comfortable and relaxed even with the wide cut of the trousers (looking like MC hammer pants as he walks to the Aston Martin) suited his legs which must have been huge. But give the man a little room in there!
And look: James Bond is a government employee. He is ex special forces. He can gamble but doesn’t have family money: Vesper called him out on it on the train. How much are Tom Ford suits? He is borderline dressing like a senior hedge fund guy in the 100 million bracket. That’s not James Bond.
