When David is not running an advertising and marketing company, his hobby is The Bond Experience which is primarily a video blog where he discusses Bond experiences and the people and brands that help to create those experiences...
The mantra of living like Bond, one moment at a time emanates from a concept of experiencing the joy of collecting small moments in life that add up to amazing journeys and stories....whether it's through style, locations, literature, fitness, and the movies themselves the world of Bond is explored through its people and their stories.

I think the travel videos are easily one of my favourites.
Thanks so much!
@@TheBondExperience I think this video was before the pandemic.
Here in Europe you can’t travel for leisure....
@@Acarsfault Check the upload date. This video ain't from before the pandemic.
@@egads2 leave it to the imagination
Went to Goldeneye on my honeymoon 14 years ago, was fabulous, Blanche Blackwell sitting in the bar every evening!
WOW!
I noticed the more I get older , the more half of my bag is full of vitamins and supplements....
LOL!
The ranger roll is great, I use it when I go backpacking or hiking. I wouldn't do it with really nice clothes though as I'm afraid it will stretch out the fabrics
It depends on on how tight you roll, but most of these I overlapped folded.
This is a great video for all those suffering from Obsessive Compulsive Disorder. It's a gift that keeps on giving. Love the enthusiasm and dedication.
A brand sponsored, 007 themed trip to Goldeneye? I can't think of anyone who deserve this success more if I'm honest. Congratulations on the fruits of your labours.
I can't tell you how much I enjoyed this video. Have a great trip, looking forward to the subsequent videos!
Yes I love the original video and it is so nice to have a updated version of it.
It needed some refreshing... :)
Thanks David for another ‘wish I had the stuff in this video’ video. That Globetrotter is beautiful!
Thanks so much!
after seeing your first Globe trotter video, i ended up purchasing a similar style suitcase from Steamline. Which had such a feeling of traveling in elegance and the number of people who would compliment you on it, you just never get that with any other piece of luggage. thank you for all of your videos, your neighbor from New York
Thanks for that recommendation. I just looked and their products look amazing.
@@michaelpoplawski2998 i had purchased a two-wheeled version of that case which was amazing, however after using it in an airport and the hotel lobby, I had wished i would have gotten the four-wheel version it can at times become off balance wheeling it alone so when i could i wouldjust carried it like a briefcase
@@wm4126 Agree 100%
Found it very informative, loved the sky blue trousers. Fantastic video
One of my favorite things was in LTK in that one deleted scene involving how Bond manages to sneak in the Walther in his flask.
Genius stuff.
Today it's the third time I watch this video while I am packing for holiday! I just love it. I mixed my favorite longdrink, closed the door and made packing an event. Great!
That's wonderful to hear!
David, I have seen you videos for a while and finally subscribed. Beautiful bag. Yes you do not want to check that one in for sure. Enjoy the laughter and educational aspects of your videos as well as the sartorial aspects of the bond lifestyle. Keep up the great work.
Thank you so much...really appreciate it.
Ah, you’re very lucky. Just found out there’s no foreign holidays allowed from the UK until May now...
Can’t wait to see your Golden Eye videos. Enjoyed Pete’s too. It’s on my bucket list!
I feel for you...this too shall pass.
Legend stuff again David
Really love these videos. Thank you
Would love to see the video about how you’d go about packing a few formal outfits in there. Absolutely stunning piece of luggage!
When the time comes, absolutely.
😎 Thanks. 🙏 That’s useful.
Really good video man! This is one of the biggest grey areas of the Bond brand so thanks for covering it!
My pleasure!
I haven’t been much of an international traveller for well over a decade. But I do like organisation, so thank you very much for suggesting the packing cubes. 👍
The cubes really worki!
Would love to see a follow up of a comparison/ best use case scenarios from this Globe-Trotter vs. the Spectre Globe-Trotter vs. the Carryall from NTTD, and any other "Bond" luggage (Tom Ford Suitcase from QoS, others?).
Looking forward to those videos from Goldeneye, but first of all, have a fantastic trip!
Much appreciated!
Awesome trip David, bon voyage! And please make a video of you singing "Underneath the Mango Tree". ;-)
Just for you I am going to do that!
@@TheBondExperience ❤️
Or, as per the novel a few lines from "Marion".
Great rock 'n rolling skills. I just squash everything together in those cubes, there's so much that fits in there. Have a safe journey and a great trip together.
Well done. I want this luggage. some very good techniques for packing that I will have to utilize. I tend to over pack, it is good to plan by each day and also have colors that all complement each other. The lack of tuxedos, suits and jackets does make this much easier and smaller. Focus on the type of trip what is really needed. Good job.
Thanks so much!
that bag is gorgeous. Might indulge myself for my trip to Hawai'i later this year.
My wife does always does all my packing!
So its a nice surprise when you arrive! ;)
@@TheBondExperience
It actually is!
You mentioned prescription sunglasses... is there a place you send your frames to get the Rx lenses put in or do you normally get them like that when you buy from the manufacturer. I know in your last sunglasses review the latter was possible for that pair.
Can't wait to see your videos at Goldeneye!
On it!
I always enjoyed packing, I think its fun :D.
It really can be!
Don't leave any space in your suitcase Sir as unwanted guests could be a surprise on your arrival.
Of course, you're going to have a well deserved wonderful time..( I'm not envious- I couldn't afford the Covid quarantine of solace on return to blighty).Cheers.
Thank you!
Safe travels David. Good info, and great looking suitcase. Would like to see an “after action” on how the suitcase did on the trip. Ease of getting it on and off plane etc.
Your final comment was what I was thinking about - is the inside-out dinner jacket still the way to pack formal if/when NTTD ever premieres?
That time shall come!
I’m going on a Cunard ship some point next year and that means suits, suits and more suits. Now as a 15yr old huge James Bond fan I am really excited and thinking about getting a bond style suit probably charcoal grey like from the new movie
You have got it made !! And nobody deserves it more .
Too kind of you!
Loving your videos as ever! Where can I get my hands on that towelling jacket?
What brand is the blue toweling jacket?
Yo, Aiden Turner should be the net Bond!!
Not a bad pick!
@@TheBondExperience He's the right age, has the right look and definitely has the acting ability. He'd be the second Irish bond after Pierce Brosnan.
David the dimensions of that case appear too large to be used as a carry on for most domestic airlines stateside. The only exception where it would work I think would be Southwest. Have you found that to be true? I’m seeing majority of airlines here requiring 22” x 14” x 9” or 10”.
I love it but too terrified to have to check it.
Enjoy dinner at the Gazebo! You should have a fantastic trip.
Thanks so much!
The ranger roll is probably best for backpackers, who need to fit everything into a relatively small space. If you're using it for regular luggage, you might be bringing too much.
I like the cube packing; everything's neat and tidy. My only question is, what happens when they inspect your luggage? Do they unzip everything and make a mess for you to fix again? Or are they courteous about it?
It's a good question....so far so good....but you never know! :)
That case does remind me of the one Laz/Bond takes to Piz Gloria. That case was more beaten up, of course.
True that!
David, where did you get that blue toweling jacket at 12:21 from?
Its from Orlebar Brown a few seasons ago...
Where do you carry your electronics; laptop/pad, video camera, and all that type of paraphernalia?
In my back pack
I know you'll be on holiday but you have to let us all know what it's like to be in the very room where it all started ,have a good holiday David and Danielle.
Thank you!
Great ep, David. I’m curious about the backpack-do you have a preference in brands for that? Frost River? Something similar? Or just an “old reliable” that’s been with you for ages?
Actually using a Mole Skin 007 one
Did you turn the catches clockwise off camera?
LOL! You know it!
85 degrees?! Color me jealous.
I shouldn’t have looked how much this travel case would cost....yikes. Love the videos.
Jamaica, eh? Gee, I wonder why that sounds familiar *cough* Dr. No *cough*.
In all seriousness, have fun! Sounds like a great vacation.
My computer crashed, just when you said that you are going to Jamaica. I guess he is jealous ;)
LOL!
Don't forget to pack a copy of Golden Gun or Dr No ;-)
On it!
Are you staying at the Fleming Villa? Or simply on the property? SO jealous! Enjoy!
On the property...the Fleming Villa is $9k a day! :)
@@TheBondExperience wow! A bit much lol
David is anybody talking about the fact that Daniel Craig could change his mind and continue making Bond movies? After living through the pandemic im guessing Daniel will decide to keep making Bond movies...i would even go so far as to say he could even make three more. Everyone is talking about who will be the next Bond but if Daniel stays on he will be the next Bond.
Omg I hate high temperatures 😁
Does Jimbo carry a Swiss Army knife ?
So much cleaner without that beard, so much better
:)
Space for 50 gold sovereigns?
You know it!
See if you can hire a Sunbeam classic car
Doubt you could carry that on.....
I thought it said Parking, learn to park like JB
Its too heavy
Better clean shaved David.
