Entertaining! I was surprised that the fasteners/seat rails were so rusty.
Me too, it has me really worried about the state of the bolts and stuff under the hood
You did your homework on those seats. I looked into seats myself and I found lots of threads showing all the problems that can arise when installing them. You can tell you put in research for these vids.
I’m 6-3 and 200 lbs and am considering this seat for my track-dedicated 350Z. I have two concerns, and I was hoping you could help me out with one of them. My first involves headroom and am wondering if I will have any while wearing a helmet as my headroom is already limited using the stock seat that reclines. I know you can’t comment on this since you drive a different car, but my other concern is fitting in this FX1 Pro. You’re about the same size as me it seems; do you fit well in the seat? Very snug or some wiggle room? Thank you.
I fit well in the seat! Actually took it across the country, I would definitely recommend it but in my car it did affect headroom so I have to slouch slightly to fit. Ditching the slider for side mounts will help with this, best of luck!
Great video, did the seat is lower than the stock seat? I am short 5'3" and i hope i can see over the steering wheel lol
I actually had slightly less headroom after the installation so I'd say it probably raised it a little bit (with the slider, side mounts apparently lower it some). Still, it is pretty low, at 5 3 I would look into seeing if there was any spacers you might be able to buy. If you put them inbetween the slider and the floor of the car. Each car is different though, I would just start out with only the slider first and maybe dig around some forums, you're bound to run into someone who has had a similar problem. Best of luck!

Okay that was a fun video but I have to admit the best part is hearing the sound of the Mustang. I'm assuming that's the good old 4.6.
Thank you, and it sure is, doesn't make much power but the sound makes it feel substantial!
The more expensive seats are definitely way more comfortable than any stock seat. Also, college students that blow their money on cars... yeah, welcome to the club.

Lmao my ignition broke too and it’s sitting at the mechanic
@@Realistick Lol I just jump started my battery and it starts again. In the newer mustangs, there’s a battery sensor that gets triggered easily. When it wasn’t starting, it said battery save mode. So, jumpstarting it solved my problem lol

Don’t buy these, the “cheap” Amazon seats are made by the exact same manufacturer that Corbeau uses. Same plant, same line, same quality. They are The exact same with the exception of having Corbeau written on them and it’s like $290 for two. Do your research.
