- Today I finally installed the Corbeau RRS seats in the Mustang GT as well as told the story as to why all of this took so long. Let me know what you think down below!

Corbeau seats are one of the best upgrades you can do for your mustang. Stock seats look great and feel ok but they ride you too high in the car. Corbeaus ride much lower and hug you better. Also the fit is better for big and tall guys. You feel like you are down in your car instead of up on it. I am not biased either because my Cobra already came with the Corbeaus in it and my previous Cobra had the stock seats so I am in a good position to judge the difference. BTW I am 6ft tall.

Reminds me of when I ordered a lift kit for my Jeep from an off-road shop. After 7 months of excuses, I called the manufacturer and they told me, "They don't pay their bill, so we don't send them product."

I ordered a set of V1 vectors from American muscles open box section. They came within the time-frame they gave me but lied about the condition they were in. They were supposed to be "Like new with no known problems" but the passenger light was completely inoperable. I had to take the little circuit box off and do a bunch of soldering to make them work correctly.

this exact same thing happened to me when i ordered my seats. 3 moths to get seats and brackets. that was that last thing i order from AM

I waited 9 months for ESR to ship my rims and I've been waiting maybe 3 months for my Toyo Tires.

I was a regular customer of AmericanMuscle. And I trusted them for so long about 6 years now. I have an order for MMD ducktail spoiler and been waiting for 3 months now. I know they sell like hot cakes but now I see it just not me and I wonder they are playing the same kind of BS with me as well. No grudge with dodge or chevy but now that AM has expanded, it feels like they have forgotten what car they started with and their loyal customers.

Currently still on springs but I’ve got some suspension stuff coming after I get the body kit complete
Bro AM is awful, last year I ordered the V2 taillights (in June) and the told me they wouldn’t ship till September. I canceled my order and just bought the V1s form Amazon. I don’t know why they allow orders to be placed on items they don’t have in stock it’s ridiculous smh 🤦🏻♂️

How many inches lower is it than the stock seat? I am 6'4" and my head hits the roof.
Are we talking 1"? Maybe 2"?
Does sitting lower make your legs more cramped?

It’s a good 2 inches lower at least. The seat brackets are adjustable so you can accommodate for leg room with seating position and steering wheel angle. I showed a bit more in my most recent video 👍

How do you install and remove air bag light ?
If I’m on the shorter side and I get after market race car seats will it limit my vision I’m under the hood ?
Not all do but many seats sit much lower. These seats are no exception. You may want to raise them up with a spacer or something

I’m a shorter guy than you (5’10”) and am looking at some seats. Can you raise these up in any way?
The seats don’t have any built in height adjustability. You maybe fabricate some sort of spacers to raise the seating position exactly to your liking. Either that or reach out to Corbeau and see if they sell something like that
What did u do about the passenger front airbag? I assume u just deleted it.
Still have all the stock stuff, I think there’s a way to integrate the stock harness and airbag sensor onto the new seat but I’m not sure yet. Working on a solution right now 👍

Are these comfortable? Can u do long trips with these without getting tired??
After about two hours my lower back gets a little sore but it was actually worse in the stock seat so the lower back might just be a personal issue. I think they’re very comfortable
@@kaidanodom my car is stick shift. Are these seats comfortable on the left leg for clutch pedal? Are they spacious still or do u feel too confined in them. I’m 188. 5,9
@@jesco6830 I don't have any leg room issues. The tighter part of the bolsters is on the back. The leg bolsters aren't very aggressive, you will probably fit in the seat just fine. I believe Corbeau has some diagrams for seat specs on their website as well
How do I get the airbag light off?

how have these seats held up for you?
They’re really good quality. Same condition they were in when I first installed them. Might be the best mod I’ve done. Worth every penny

Strangely enough, I have never had a single issue with AM, but I know plenty of people that have... Luckily it seems I don't have to worry about ordering mustang parts anymore...
