I'm buying this book for my son. I just saw you on Wendy Williams show and learned of this book. My child hates who he is out of know where. I don't know what happened. He is amazing! I pulled him out of school bc of bullies. He is pan. And his peers didn't take it well. :(

I hope your son has learned to love himself again, such a shame that bullies tore down his confidence.

Karamo could do a better job of listening to his son. He can't hear his son's pain, feelings or issues because he over talks his son instead of really listening with understanding. It was probably very difficult no matter how much love his son got from his dad, it was probably a lot for a kid to process growing up with a gay dad or raised by his dad without his mother. I recently saw where his son had a set back with drugs.. escaping his reality is what drugs will do. I know he is doing awesome now and worked thru his pain addiction in rehab.
