Hi! I'm really considering this hairstyle and you made it look workable for an amateur like me lol. Question: I saw another do this same style and she said the direction to twist is important or it will come out a hot mess lol. Is this true? If so, what direction? Thanks!
Hi. You are right, this a perfect hairstyle for a beginner. To answer your question... yes, the direction you twist in is important. You need to twist in the same direction as the coils of the hair. If you are not sure what direction to twist in, do 2 test-twists. Twist to the left with one and to the right with the other. Then go with the direction that turns out better. I hope this helps. 😊💖

I'm in day One of installing my spring twist all by myself (I've never done my own hair) I'm hoping I'm going the Right way the other way my hand moment feel unnatural if that makes any sense.. best advise take your time... I'm hoping to be done with my install by Wednesday... but I at times have to restart my braiding a few times to get that knot right but good luck

Hi, thank you. You said your hair started unravelling from your twists, I'm guessing you mean your natural hair started unravelling from the spring twist itself. If that is the case, my guess is that you didn't apply enough pressure to the parts where your natural hair was. Notice in the video that I braided the beginning (for better hold) after that you want to twist really tight till you get to the end of your natural hair. This will help keep your natural hair in place. I hope this helps 😊💖

Hi! unfortunately, Cuban Twists won't work for this hairstyle. If you use the Cuban Twist you will have twists that look like Marley Twists. Spring Twists required a kind of hair that is very "Springy"
