I did the blow-dryer technique to my twist without the spray... It worked... I use to do it to the kanekalon braiding hair as well... Love how your hair turned out...

I have 4c hair. For me, Putting the jam on the roots cause slippage which is bad because we need a firm grip on the base in order for the braid not to slip down or get loose easily. I find it better to use the jam and twist along the rest of the hair not too close to the roots but use something firmer for the braiding part. Shine jam does not work for me to use it at the roots to braid. For roots and a better grip, use something firmer than shine and jam.

Your hair is beautiful. I just wanted to add that it doesn’t matter whether you twist to the left or right, you just have to make sure you twirl the hair in the same direction.
Antoinesia English hi. I was thinking this because i twist to the left im assuming because im right handed however some come out as she said and some come out messy which i get annoyed. The ones on my left side come out more messy then the right. Please can u explain what u mean by twirl the hair in the same direction. Ty
Vee Strength So, to form a twist, in general, you have to wrap the two strands around each other. To form this kind of twist (or rope, kinky, etc.), you have to twirl each strand as you wrap them around each other. To be more specific, you have to twirl each strand in the same direction that you are wrapping your strands. For instance, if you are twisting in a clockwise direction, you should be twirling each strand in a clock wise direction as well.

Same thing I did, I also just finished last night. I used the invisible knot method and it was hard to twist to the left. Twisting to the left would have taken me 8 months to finish. I was able to do one spring twist, twisted to the right and I gave up😭😭 Starting off as a braid there's more control over which way to twist. Better luck for us both next time
Why does it matter which side?
@@Jayariee You can put in the search bar spring twist and you will see where some spring twist results are very crinkly starting from the root, meaning they twisted to the right. Which is not ugly, but you will not get a sleek twist as shown in this tutorial.
I think that I did the same thing and pulled them out. I didn't get that far. I'll try again.

It doesn’t matter what direction you twist in as long as you back twist in the opposite direction. I twist to the right because it’s more natural for me. Just remember to back twist the individual strands before twisting them together and your twist will look nice and sleek.

Livin. Single you take both strands and roll them in the opposite direction of the twist. So if you roll clockwise you will twist them together counterclockwise and vise versa.

OMG, this came out so cute....I like to put a lot of product on my hair and the fake hair (Dollar store products for the fake hair though, lol) so that everything stays moisturized. I find that the twists stay tightly coiled when you do that and looks fresher longer. Okay, we'll be waiting for Ms. Sidney to get her hair like mommy's after your vacation, lol. One of the things I just noticed with this hair is my color 2 hair needs to be twisted the opposite way of my 1b/33 hair, but they are the same company as the one you showed. So I would say just twist it a couple times before you start to see which way that pack needs to be twisted.

Yes...you have to roll your fingers and use different hair for passion twists...
Right. These are long spring twists. Passion twist is done with freetress waterwave type hair.

Spring twists!
For those who don't think twisting to the left matters, it definitely does, I'm using the same hair, as she did and when I didn't twist left the braid didn't lock. It's like if you twist right youre going the opposite direction of the curl pattern of the hair. It does matter.

So the twisting is specific to this hair only? I used different hair and noticed the left twists comes out better most of the time. I also think it has to do with how u lock it to your hair. Rubber band, crochet method etc.

whitney mason when you separate the hair to fluff it out, divide into two pieces and make the ends uneven to make the hair appear longer.

Those are spring twists using spring twist hair. Passion twists are completely different. You can actually buy spring twist hair and it will say, "Spring Twist" on the pack.

Yes, twisting in different directions does make a difference. I demonstrated the two diff directions in the video.

I twist left over right. Some of mine came out like the one you showed when u said u twisted to the right. Then others look like yoursmore like a coiled look.so I thought it was about the amt of tension n stretched I put on the twist . Vs twisting with stretching the hair. Do u have an email where I can send u a pic so u can see how mine have a coiled look while the others have a loos loose stretched look?
