Warlock is by far my least played class in Destiny, but even I could not ignore this incredibly sucky build. It may not be my strongest build, but learning something new and feeling myself improve, as the matches went by was a really fun switch up from the usual Hunter/Titan gameplay. Enjoy!

I may be crazy. However this build might go harder if Positive Outlook is the auto of choice, and Travelers chosen is the secondary weapon. More build synergy with a void auto and a sidearm to build more ability energy and melt close range.
I was thinking with a destabilizing round, repulsive barrier vouchsafe to build more into the void debuff. Maybe the same roll on the new title as well
That's my exact build, and it definitely does. I have a dsr + eots roll and it fucks. If I'm using a kinetic primary I prefer heliocentric for the lightweight movement and kill clip.

Positive Outlook is my favorite void auto in the game… it’s basically a Void Ammit… I have a Zen Moment/Destabilizing Rounds roll and I love it.
I main blinklock and i've been using my repulsor brace, zen moment fioritura and it absolutely, most definitely SLAPS!!
With how much Jake liked the void buddy, would love to see him use briarbinds.

Jake when using this build with firefight I would replace Adagio with elemental capacitor giving you 100 range and 80 stability it's insane bro
You can get it to 96 stability with elemental cap, Ive always had mine at 96 which turns it into a laser beam
With the new gg thing I had to go void with some. Nezrac is nice, but I do love the ability to blink around. Getting behind someone and plugging them before they can react is fun. The stasis hunter helm barakis is fun to use. What's fun is when they are on a corner and you dart around behind them. But I need to see the stats for the one i got.
Just a tip, you want your mobility as low as possible that way when you blink push it becomes more horizontal. You can really catch people off guard and be in their spawn almost as quick as strand hunters.
That is incorrect. Low Mobility is not the move. You want at least 50 mobility for off blink movement and for bunny hop firing to blink combo, etc. Look up any good blink main (like myself or imperial#0487) and you'll notice most run decently high mobility.
@@warside2531 idk anything about your movement techs but simply talking about trying to push the fastest to a position on a map, it is literally better to have low mobility. In order to go horizontal with your blink you have to wait until you hit the apex of your jump at the very least otherwise you will just go vertical. So having a lower mobility, i.e. having a shorter max jump height means you will get to your max wuicker and you can activate your blink quicker.
@@krisdzeel6408 I understand what you're saying and you're correct on lower Mob getting you from point a to b faster , but that is not how you win games (also the you will just go vertical portion is incorrect). I've likely seen the same videos/reddit posts as you about lower mob being better, but like I said earlier I main Blink and I've tried both low/mid/high mobility extensively, and mid feels best for neutral game and still gets you where you need to be within milliseconds of having low mob while being able to spec into RES/REC/DIS/INT.
@@warside2531 yeah obviously a movement tech isnt how you definitively win a game, but its the same reason people run icarus dash on solar warlock. It lets you chase enemies down and run back to cover quicker which can help you win duels which could win you the game. And that was the whole point of my comment, you can aggresively play with it, just like strand hunters do. No need to come in with the "well actually" attitude and tell people what you think is the correct way to play a game that encourages creating unique playstyles and builds.

some maps like endless vale have weird invisible celings throughout that only apply when you're wearing astrocyte. All along mid where toilet bowl is through to cubbies has that infinite wall where u blink and effectively go nowhere. Be mindful of where u blink, bc as you seen in the video it happened a bunch and Jake didnt even really notice it.
I need a blink build cause a lot of warlocks don’t use blink & or not good with it like me & love the video 👍🏾
A Titan Main helps a Hunter main to become a Warlock main, you can't write better content. GG
Bro I been using the fire fright for a hot min everyone talked mad smack when it first dropped but it actually pops on in pvp is one of my favorites still from season of the haunted till now
TDT runs a similar build with MIDA and is goated at it!
The succ counter is off by 1. Around succ number 10 or 11 he said it twice in quick SUCCession but only 1 got counted also i didnt know the child of the old gods worked in other rifts too
Volatile is lowkey really fun. It does not do that much in normal combat. But in regards to fighting someone healing and re-engaging it is a superpower. Also against supers that heals such as Hammers of Sol... Its a BEAST. Hunter with the Volatile chest piece dodge... Once you hit a certain amount of damage BOOMskies cya later.
you should use the Mantacore with this build
What about using a weapon with collective action since you're picking up so many void breaches? You'd get a boost to weapon damage.

Everybody uses adagio, but tbh ele cap is the way to go. No other auto can get as high of stats it’s an absolute laser beam.

Jake, it doesnt track if target is invisible. Found out on fallen that go invisible
It's not just that, Void Soul tracks mostly on total damage in pvp. I haven't tried it with new sandbox yet, but before 1 crit with a 120 HC would instantly make it track, meanwhile I would land 4/6 crits from 2 bursts on a high impact pulse and it wouldn't budge
the amount of gamers taking unnecessary fights is staggering tbh,but props on the vid!
Toss on a manticore and watch many really lose track of where you end up

Idk why but Hip firing releases the void soul way faster than aiming.
Thought about Manticore with this build.....u can jump mid air while shooting. Plus all the other changes to Manticore that's come about
You needed a Positive Outlook with Zen or Perpetual Motion + Destabilizing Rounds. Dynamic sway + kill clip is good too but since you're wanting debuffs I would run destabilizing and Briar binds.
Also, Child of the Old Gods, needs a rework. As it stands it's pretty weak. In pvp players are never in a hurry to avoid it. They will just walk away, jump over it, or shoot it with little to know anxiety in the process. It needs stronger energy leech; leeched power should go directly to the player causing the leech, or needs better tracking and much better ai in knowing when to go and attack.
I would also like to add that it should suppress players from using their abilities other than using a rift when being leeched by it.

9:00 i still remember when you said that trash teammates aren't a thing that if i felt like that is because im the trash one, you spoke generally but i've telling you that trash teammates/absolutely clueless are a thing, here it is and in your next match you got 2 goof balls that even being in a Duo with communication they still kept throwing, only if you had a shotgun and won would mean that you was absolutely carrying them thats actually pain and you was getting annoyed as i told you i was everytime i got teammates like that. Old school devour = Aspect. Higher timer, health regenen and grenade regen on kills after proc with void ability. Nerfed devour = Fragment. Proc with Breach or Orb. +5 sec, low health regen, no grenade regen.

You’re absolutely throwing by not using a void weapon. Volatile rounds will change your life.
