Let's all pretend I finished this yesterday and not minutes before reset 👍
Thanks for showing me more reasons not to play trials : )
Thanks for showing me more reasons not to play trials : )
Let’s all pretend you added fighting lion 😢
@@hyruleartschool7713 wasn’t sure how good it would be after the (15%?) nerf, but can definitely see it still just being annoying to deal with :)
@@EatYoWaffles it’s getting nerfed? 😭 my baby 😭, is this in just checkmate?
“Y’all better hope this has a some garbage perks”
Has great perks. Fuck.
The buff is 1-3% extra damage.
I think it's a misnomer to say the balance team overlooked them, they said they wanted to big sweeping changes and micromanage after, I quite a few of these were mentioned as outliers by Merc on firing range, I think
Yep fair enough, I went through that episode and seems like they’re at least aware of some of these. From my experience though, the next few months are gonna be riddled with this stuff while they go through the micromanage stage-I think it’ll really come down to how quickly and frequently they execute the updates. We’ll see!
And Adjudicator (new) has Subsistence + Onslaught… on a 600 rpm smg… with an origin trait to increase damage 😅
Fun fact, Celestial Nighthawk does not require you to run Golden Gun to get a boost in super with precision kills. This includes other subclasses, not just solar, so if you don’t have another exotic to run, you can get a free boost to super for any build
Btw rat king and graviton forfeit might be really good cause if u build into getting your other abilities from your melee (graviton increases melee regen while invis, up to like 400% while surrounded)
It's 300% at base and 800% while near 1 or more enemy
Forfeit’s ability regen boost is reduced in PvP. It is 200% or 300% when near an enemy.
Ngl i knew neither of these things but it still sounds good
Good shout for Eye of Another World, the AE bonus nice and it plays immensely well with wombo setup of Celestial Fire+Incediary grenade for collaterals, especially when we're anticipating a handholding+deathball situation. Even in a world of more downtime on that, it'll still be better than nothing.
While more of an insanity pick, I seriously think people underestimate how Arcane Needles getting buffed this recent patch could be not only nice for a "finisher" but if you mix it with Necrotic Grips you're effectively throwing a wrench of somebody's recovery in the heat of a duel which given how we're gonna have more primary action will be nothing to sneeze at. Cammycakes had a decent shout when talking up throwing an Arcane Needle mid fight with a DMT on deck.
To sound even more insane, Necrotic Grips + Grapple Melee is not bad for the spread especially on a group of already weakened people and if you got a Striga on your guy that can leave door open to somebody going down on the technical Poison meaning your mag will be overflowed and you're ready to clean up scraps or anybody who joined in. I would say it is map/situation dependent as you're not really as benefitted nearly as universally as Hunter with grapples but the results may surprise you from time to time.
The needle is way more consistent but the class is still trash
Excellent breakdown; clearly showed the value in each of the new builds and how they circumvent the changes made. Good stuff.
🙏
super informative!! Love the way you script your videos, to the point and still entertaining
One thing I think you missed (and something I'm looking to cover) is Ticuu's Divination. It essentially remains unchanged in terms of precision requirements for it's optimal TTK, which is one auto aim hipfire shot and one crit while all other bows require 2 crits (and also don't, you know, auto track).
ooo definitely an interesting shout
If they are tier ten it will not kill I love ticcus in pvp but it can't one tap in checkmate because the explosion damage isn't enough
@@danielbutterfield-sf6vpyes it can. It needs to be a perfect draw for it to be able to secure the kill at 10 resilience
Also ticcus doesnt need a change. If its changed then whats the point of the weapon? Therefore, All other bows need a buff
i faced this on a three stack in control. two of them were coodinating and one was hipfiring and the other was ADSing, it, was fucking cancer. i just wanted to use my new yeehaw primary scout
Cool guy already showcased how dominant frostees w radiant dodge on hunter can be. Pair it w a 450 solar pulse and you’ll be constantly radiant. Personally I run jorums claw w encore and golden tricorn
11:30 Finally my gm build is gonna be good in pvp.
always has been :)
@@veralium No it hasn't lol
13:37 I will always appreciate a smooth blink transition. Great video! Definitely gonna steal some ideas from ya.
Have been running a No Distraction and Box Breathing roll on Glissando for crucible/trials, has proved quite handy considering i'm not great in the slightest.
can completely agree on rat king, used before changes, it was fun, but with a lot less shotgun use with special changes, it allows for a different type of aggressive play style where rat king just shines, especially with the catalyst and on top of that graviton forfeit it’s a beast, easily 1v3ing teams on trials. definitely my favourite crucible build in a long while, and as an added bonus it makes the sweaty peacekeeper titans so mad they’ll definitely message you 😭
*Laughs in double primary bias*
another trace to try out might be acasia's dejection with paracausal affinity, expecially paired with arthrys's gunslinger since it has the possibilty of having your trace with a funny 30% damage bonuses with near infinite up time(well so long as you have special)
Goddamn, top tier stuff broski. Had to sub😊
Damn dude you were totally right, something for everyone. You gave me so many reason to sub to you
Farmed out my glissy with no distractions and box breathing last night. Let’s go
I've been waiting years to use Cryosthesia in a no-ability environment. Gonna be so funny.
I hate you. But it'll be beautiful
oh god
First 50 seconds are fire 🔥 😂
Liked and subbed near instantly
Bless youtube for recommending your channel. Great vid
I dont think ive ever watched your videos this is my first time and ur a w content creator kept me engaged exc keep it up brotha
i dont know why i've never seen your channel.. but yo, By far The most accurate straight to the point delivery based on facts with 0% clickbait tendencies. You just became my most trusted source.
:)
Feedback fence (with the arc slam or beserker or even behemoth) was a go to before for me, now its gonna be wild, plus glaives have always been a fav of mine
Slice perk might be big to counter all those dmg perks and make bodyshot even more unforgiving
Travelers chosen should also be mentioned I believe to counter ability cooldown nerf
I think I said it in there somewhere but yes hard agree
13:37 blink match cuts in these videos are always the best
I haven't tested it yet, but assuming they didn't change the Volatile detonation requirements there's one specific weapon that might be absolutely broken combined with Gyrfalcon's.
Brya's Love.
Main reason being, that it's a Void Precision Scout with Precision Instrument.
At base it already 3-Tapped everyone below 5 Resilience (or at least it did before, when simply adding the 14% crit buff to it, it technically actually got nerfed to everything below 4 Resilience)
But there's a catch, with Volatile added you actually should cause a detonation if you cross the 200 hp threshhold, which would then just finish off every guardian with a guaranteed 3-tap, netting you a constant 0.67 ttk which would then grant you invis again, to just follow up with the next target.
I forgot knuckleheads radar got changed and have been cleaning up in Crucible. Definitely a great pick
I’m looking forward to this and also, adjudicator perks are looking extremely nice.
The acdos paired with the general movement and separation of behmoth, with also monte to replenish essentailly the most busted titan melee for pvp, also offering amazing mobility as you most times will never worry about whether or not you can use it for mobility over combat
Cool to see secant filaments getting some recognition
Nerf Wun
My second most used exotic in all of destiny 2 is the mask of The quiet One it's a very underrated exotic and it is honestly a sleeper exotic now there are plenty of other choices but I'm glad to see that it could become even better it's just a good overall neutral game exotic faster ability cool Downs when getting hit and you get instant health back after a kill (health not shields)
Kinetic Tremors rolls on Showrunner, which can help secure a kill if you hit too many body shots. Multimach will be able to roll with it too, which will be better in every way
I like the idea of assemblers with lumina, but with randos/lack of communication I probably wouldn't do it in trials.(plus I'm bad with 140s, skill issue)
I'm probably gonna stick to stasis-lock, but I will try out that hung jury thats been sitting in my vault for a minute.
Armamentarium and Behemoth use to feel really good. You use the crystals for damage resistance, break them for ability regen, and can grab the shards to start health regen
Tried Monte-Carlo first week of trials checkmate and lemme tell you the full melee regen felt busted spamming of arc warlock slide and getting the damage buff for monte (if I got the kill with the melee). Was thinking pairing monte with stasis-locks and I think's it's gonna be nuts for how easy and lethal stasis-locks are
Khepri’s Horn with Ember of Singeing on Solar allows the barricade to get faster cooldowns off its own damage now that the thermite applies Scorch. This was added in Season 21 but in the new sandbox it could easily bypass the slower cooldowns. The extra chip damage from the thermite wave is also better now with the higher base health.
:O
Invaluable. Subbed
well done, loved the video.. easy watch
I can see rewind rounds on fast firing primaries shoeing up more often.
I'm really curious to see what volatile can do in the sandbox. Specifically with a Gyrfalcon hunter and a Loose Change/Precision Instrument Brya's.
I’m seeing some synergy with a Controlled Demolition Titan and Astrocyte Verse Warlock. Warlock can blink in to distract while the Titan benefits from fighting the enemies that the Warlock just made volatile just by pressing the space bar
yuhhh
Fun fact: Ticuu's Divination is still a 1 shot combo even with the extra health : ]
It was the first weapon I got 30 kills with in a game when playing checkmate
Bro rlly thought we wouldn’t notice the smooth blink transition
My main hope is that Focus Fury, more specifically FF on Pure Poetry gets to shine even more being a free 20% damage (2 tapping those at T5 res and under not including weapon surges) from just playing optimally for 10 sec and staying proc’d even after swapping guns.
I had a section on Focused Fury with slideways/slideshot weapons in here, but I cut it cause when I was testing I felt like I may as well just use kill clip if I’m hitting that many crits anyways haha
@@EatYoWaffles I can’t argue with kill clips potency, but I look at Focus Fury as a Jack of all trades being versatile in both 3s and 6s on top of the the perk duration. That aside like you mentioned I’m planning a Behemoth build involving the Judgment HC, and possibly ice fall mantle to shut down aping guardians while being able to 2 crit 1 body (at 8 res and under) with max surge.
@@Sly_Tendencies yeah I’m definitely keeping an eye on it, I think on the right weapons (small magazine) it can be nasty for sure
@@EatYoWaffles Pure Poetry procs FF at either 4 or 5 shots depending on whether you use Backup Mag. The weakness is the range but the other stats are adequate for a 120 for the most part. So I double dipped into them with Perpetual Motion.
@@Sly_Tendencies for sure, I’ll keep an eye out
Looking forward to more!
One thing I've been really worried about is the wave frame blinting builds, even worse with disruption break. With the whole "only primaries build special ammo" rule, I can see blinting being a way to partially bypass this. Smart players don't waste their special unless they're pretty likely to secure the cleanup, so it could end up being an even less advantageous minigame of baiting as *hard* as possible to get the wave frame user to overextend, except now I can't use special to match their ttk.
Keep making videos, this is great
Good choice of music, my man
Definitely some things you didn’t mention but I won’t mention either cause I haven’t grinded out the armor for it yet
I got a adept igneous with flutted, ricochet, heal clip and precision instrument or eots and stability mw. 83 range and 60 stability. As a controller player im in love. Heal clip with wormhusk is insane too now
Mask of the quiet one's healing technically got buffed indirectly too, not just the ability regen.
Abilities have slower regen, so the regen is more valuable.
But the healing.. it only heals your HEALTH, not your shield, which is what made it bad before. But, now we have 30 more health - meaning, you can heal 30 more health from Mask of the Quiet One.
Good call. The Tommy gun exotic as well
My icefall mantle + sweet business build might actually cook in this build
10/10 video, I rarely comment, this was great
another good pick is revision zero still gets it's free sniper shot as well as being an all round nice pulse to use.
my keep away precision instrument that ive been using because I cba getting a better roll is finally gonna be useful lol
stag+hawkmoon was insane in normal checkmate, pprolly gonna be crazy still
Final Warning has some potential! Still 3 Crits when locked on and you have more time to lock on and get back to cover with more health
Something interesting about nezeracs, and I’m not sure if it’s a glitch but it works on non void subclasses. Get void weapon kills and it recharges abilities no matter your subclass.
Yep, not a glitch, it procs on all void sources. One of my buddies likes to use it on solar, fastest wells in the west
I “mained” 180 rpm handcannons before these changes. Might have to switch to 390 pulses since radiant still affects their ttk.
Kinetic Tremors might be a consistency pick on some subarchetypes
give this man more subs
Welcome back original gangster 🤴
Hey I love your build crafting ideas have you ever thought of making a discord solely for trails and crucible build crafting
Appreciate it! I don't have a public discord solely because I don't want to moderate it, but there are many creators out there who have them for this exact purpose :) I recommend checking out Aztecross's, I've met a lot of my current clan by just playing with random people there
Another banger by the boi
Don't underestimate a good sunbreaker with burning maul you can do some crazy stuff with it because no one ever expects it but as per usual there are other options Plus it's just fun to use
I have been using the cult armor parts for a good bit of time still like em
Using Stacks on stacks with feedbacks gets you 2 armor charges meaning you can 1 punch enemies and kill them if they hit you back, if you combine it witbh charged up to allow 4 armor charge it should be able to flat out kill players on full health, might not becuase of +30 but it will leave them incredibly low. Also grapple melee hits twice so you can get double charge with feedbacks
Great idea 🙏
8:23 jokes on you, as a titan all my builds are 10 resil
Hey what about hallowfire heart? Youll still be able to incendiary grenade plus skyburners oath into a ignite.
You only get the bonus when your super is full, the other part was removed unfortunately
Aeons with sect of vigor give you class abilitiy energy when your teammates die.
Adjudicator can get dynamic sway and onslaught
Oh man, I was already running at people with astrocyte and vexcal. This will be fun.
i have my ib fusion w discord and hatchling ready for the checkmatening
never thought id see the day that stasis titan becomes not only viable, but a meta pick.
Fun data point for you: around a year ago, Trials Report published a dataset showing what three stack teams with a 90% win rate or higher were using. Behemoth was number 2, only behind pre-nerf Striker :)
Long time rat king main - im about to feast in this new weapon sandbox
I’ve spent a year away 😂 this is all new to me
I was using that solar sidearm with the silencer before it was meta
(I was roleplaying as a spy)
🔥🔥🔥Edge of Concurrence🔥🔥🔥
Could the young ahamkara spines on hunters work to circumvent the recharge de-buffs on recharge?
Maybe! Good way to apply heavy scorch too to proc ember of singeing
Pretty much quite the day of the update 👍
You mean I can finally justify my 7 masterworked boots of the assemblers in my vault?
Hell yeah
sturm and drang go hard in the new king of the hill mode
What resilience should we be running now for trials as a warlock?
I’m using warlock this weekend and I’m running 7 :)
Bro’s the drake meme but “Destiny?” “Nah, international trip…”
So, how did this all pan out? I'm been excited to find out!
There’s definitely a few things I didn’t expect but for the most part I think I did pretty well :) balance patches are coming hot and heavy though so we’ll see how long it lasts!
What about Ballidorse Wrathweavers for free x4 stasis surge in a rift or Briarbinds to retrieve and reuse void souls?
I like briarbinds! To me Ballidorse just seems like worse Bastion barricade but I can see why it’d be useful :)
Can confirm Vexcalibur on Void TItan with ACD' and Offensive Bulwark is N U T T Y. You passively generate enough charge to keep OB up indefinitely, which also means inf bonus grenade recharge.
What’s the mark you used on the outfit in your thumbnail?
I’m sorry I don’t know-there was maintenance when I was making the thumbnail so I just got this png off google images
Vexcalibur with Astrocyte is a great time.
Crazy edge case, lead from gold might be kinda decent now in pvp
Oh for sure-i.e. hot swapping it when it’s heavy round in trials
I do believe the perk does not work from wall pickup so it won’t come up unfortunately
@@ExpertRamdang
Prophesy gonna be busy this week
Thank you, now my trials experience has been nothing but autos and box breathing scouts. I won a singular game, because none of my teammates had the meta.
Damn what is that shader on your titan from preview?
I don’t actually know 😅 I couldn’t log in to get a thumbnail cause of maintenance so I just ripped this off google images
@@EatYoWaffles np thanks for answer anyway
tarrabah might be even better now, with the lack of shotguns it allows for safer close range fights and the perk doesnt care about head or body damage so the body damage reduction doesnt affect it at all
Athrys is my shit I'm soo excited for this change
what titan set are you wearing in the thumbnail?
Don’t know sorry-there was maintenance when I was making it so I just got the image off google 😅
