I think they're playing perfectly fine! They sound just like their record and of course it's going to sound rawer and sped up, it's pure live dooooom heavy metal!

Which it is, it sounds better slower hence why they recorded it slower. I get it is adrenaline and excitement making them play faster though, which is still cool.
Some bands have a limited time and they are afraid about dont play the whole setlist for that specific concert. A lot of bands in a day... i guess is not easy.
Messiah's voice is truly great. He sounds very near to the record, even if this live version is a little faster

You should hear the music Leif Edling made before Candlemass. It was more in the vein of NWOBHM and speed metal. That ethos is still in their DNA.
